Chapter thirty three

*Adelyn's POV*
I run home because my dad texted me saying that I need to be home now. I run faster. When I get home he comes up to me with a knife in his hand. "T-think about what your d-doing" I say backing up.
"Hmm I'm trying to kill you so I don't have to see your fugly self anymore." He says waving the knife in the air. I run into my bathroom. "Adelyn?!" He says. I hear him opening and closing doors. I finally have the guts to do this. I type 911 on my phone. "911 what's your emergency?" A lady speaks. "My d-dad is trying to kill me..." I say quietly so my dad doesn't hear. "Ok I am going to track your phone where your calling from. Please stay calm." She says. "Ok" I say. "Stay on the phone with me okay?" She says. "Ok" I say again. "ADELYN!!!!!!" My dad yells. "Shh stay calm." The lady says. I start crying. "Shhh" she says I cover my mouth. "Theirs police outside your house with no sirens on stay quiet." She says. Then I hear a knock on the front door and my dad cursing under his breath. "COMING!!!" He yells. I hear him run down the stairs I get out of my bathroom. And open my door I see him in handcuffs. "Why Adelyn?!" He yells. "I will get you!!" He yells. Then he goes in the back of the police car. Then they drive away. "Don't worry... He will be locked up for a long time." A police officer says. I look at his name tag and it says Officer Mike. "O-OK" I say. "Do you have someone to live with for a while?" He says. "Uhh yeah I think so I will call her." I say. "Okay" he says.
I run upstairs and call Emma.

"Hey what's up Adelyn?" She asks.
"I was wondering if I can stay at your house for a while?" I say hopefully she says yes.
"Yeah what's up?" She says.
"I may or may not have called the cops on my dad" I say.
"YAY!! That's my girl!" She says.
"Haha I gtg pack thanks so much!" I say.
"Your welcome see you soon!" She says.
"bye!" She says.
"Bye!" I say.
Let's go!!!
