FEEL FREE TO SHOOT ME ITS BEEN 15 DAYS I HOPE THIS (AND THE BEAUTIFUL GIF) MAKE UP FOR IT LOVE U GUYS
calum's lips, warm and soft, pressed lightly against the pulse of my neck. he began to leave kisses along my neck to my collarbone as i was underneath him; the only noise was the low hum of the random movie that we had chosen playing in the background.
the room was dim, only illuminated by the television screen, since it was almost eight and the sun had set. he lifted his head up to glance at me and i took the opportunity to kiss him, letting my tongue slip against his bottom lip.
i grasped the hem of the gray tee shirt he was wearing to pull him closer but before i could, the sound of his blaring ringtone interrupted us.
he broke apart from me to groan and glared at the phone as if it would stop the ringing.
"fuck," calum mumbled under his breath, reaching for his phone that was laying on the floor, "who could be calling right now?"
he lifted the phone up to his ear, "hello?"
"you're kidding me? and you chose not to tell me about this until now," he said to the person on the other line. "you know what, whatever, fine. we'll go," calum ended his conversation and threw his phone back onto the couch.
"who was that?" i asked. i began to run my fingers through my tousled hair, trying to tame it from what had happened before we got interrupted.
"ashton. there's a party going on tonight and everybody's there. he wanted to ask if we could go,"
"i don't really feel like going," i muttered but knew that it would not make a difference since i had already heard him tell ashton yes.
"lydia, come on. i'll stay with you the whole night long," he pleaded.
"i am in no mood to go out at watch other people get drunk while i stand off to the side,"
"you won't be standing off to the side, you'll be standing by me," calum said. he reached over to brush away a piece of hair that had fallen in front of my face and then grabbed my hand.
his thumb was slowly rubbing over mine and he pouted as he waited for my answer. "we don't even have to go for a long time, i just want to say hey to all my friends,"
"whatever," i mumbled and watched as he shot me a huge smile.
--
and how i was right. calum had gotten distracted in the first twenty minutes we had arrived and i was standing by the drinks, trying to not look like a complete outcast.
i had rejected every single person that tried to offer me a drink because i knew that i would probably be driving myself home tonight.
i watched people playing beer pong and listened to the loud music that was blaring from the speakers. not bothering to look for calum after he had ditched me, i found the nearest chair by me to sit down.
before i was about to get up and leave, something caught my eye. i would have recognized him anywhere, and i should have expected to see him here.
luke. he was dressed in all black, as usual, and his eyes were concentrated on the girl in front of him as they carried on a conversation. my gaze followed him as he moved towards the girl to catch what she was saying.
he crossed his arms and rocked back and forth on his heels lightly to press his back against the wall as he listened to the girl blab on.
as if sensing that i was staring at him, he turned around at an angle, his eyes landing on me. his eyes were unreadable but he said something to the blonde girl to have her shake her head and walk away.
