"Pregnant and undercover. It's a good name for a reality show," Jay chuckled, glancing between Kim and Adam.
"Ha. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie to you, man, this whole thing makes me nervous, but she loves the job," Adam replied, holding his coffee with a relaxed grip. "She wants to get as much time out here as she can before she's got to go on light duty, so here we are."
"It's badass, no doubt," Jay said with a smirk, his eyes glinting with admiration.
"Thanks, man. Yeah, can you imagine the stories we'll tell this kid?" Adam said, a proud grin spreading across his face as they walked toward the van.
"Rojas, fill us in," Hailey called out as they neared the vehicle.
"All right. Our target is the DTO we've been jamming on. Finally getting a chance to buy up. I'm fronting as an in-between for a big player. I mean, today is step one, a test ride, quarter brick of H. I take it to my boss, make sure he likes the product, we do a major sale next week. At least, that's what the guy thinks. Instead, we take down my guy today, flip him," Vanessa explained, eyeing the group with sharp focus.
"Great, we'll have eyes on you inside and out. I'll be up on top, Kev and Kim will be right there with you. Adam and Jay will take your guy down as soon as he hits the street," Hailey outlined, confirming the plan.
"Dibs," Jay grinned.
"All you, dawg," Adam said, giving him a playful shove.
"All right. Okay, it's show time," Rojas said, her voice laced with confidence as she applied lipstick.
"So what's the takedown signal?" Kim asked, leaning in as she adjusted her gear.
"Raspberry," Vanessa said with a smirk.
"Cute," Kim responded, nodding approvingly.
"Let's roll," Hailey said, leading the way.
"I like that," Jay added with a grin, clearly ready for action.

Jay stood outside in the biting cold of the airport, his hands tucked into his pockets, his breath visible in the frigid air. He kept his eyes on the suspect who was inside, his earpiece securely in place, listening to the conversation between Rojas and the target. Everything was quiet—too quiet—until he heard the signal.
"Raspberry," Rojas's voice came through his earpiece, a crisp, clear command.
"Let's go," Kevin's voice followed, from his position inside the airport, ready to move.
"South side. Leather jacket, jeans," Kim added, providing a description of the suspect.
Jay's heart rate ticked up a notch as he observed the suspect moving toward the exit, but his instincts kept him in check.
