"Morning," Kevin said, barely glancing up from his desk as Jay walked in.

"Where's Hank, Adam, and Kim?" Jay asked as he sat down in his chair, dropping his jacket over the back.

"Roman," Antonio answered, walking into the break room and grabbing a coffee. "They're with him."

"Kim's ex-partner?" Jay asked, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

"Yeah," Antonio replied, taking a sip. "His sister's missing. They went to the scene of the fire to investigate."

Jay blinked. "His sister's missing? For how long?" he asked, still processing the information.

"We weren't told how long yet," Antonio replied, before turning to walk back toward his desk. "You and Upton head down to med and talk to the victims found shot at the scene."

Hailey, who had been quietly listening from her desk, frowned. "Shot? At the scene of the fire?" She stood up from her chair, a look of concern crossing her face.

Antonio nodded. "Yeah. We don't have all the details yet, but they need to be questioned."

Jay stood up, grabbed his jacket from the back of his chair, and tossed it over his shoulder. "Let's go," he said, walking toward the door with Hailey following closely behind.

"We've been treating at least three ODs an hour, like trying to stop a running faucet," the nurse said as she led Jay and Hailey down the busy hallway.

"This kid, Travis Butler—he's the one who set the fire?" Hailey asked, keeping pace with the nurse.

"Yeah, Travis Butler. Paramedics brought him in about 15 minutes ago. GSW to the stomach, smoke inhalation. He's still in surgery, but—this place is packed," she explained, her voice tinged with exhaustion.

As they walked, loud voices caught their attention, and they turned to see two fathers arguing fiercely near the waiting area.

"This is insane," one father shouted. "You need to see my daughter first!"

"No! My son's in worse condition!" another father yelled, stepping forward to push the first one.

The situation was quickly escalating, and parents were crowding around Sylvie and Emily, who were trying to manage the chaos.

"Hey, what's going on here?" Jay asked, stepping up to Sylvie.

"Victims from the fire were brought in, and so was Travis," Sylvie said, glancing at him with concern. "It's a mess in here."

Just then, the two fathers shoved each other again, their voices rising in anger.

"Police!" Jay shouted, his voice firm and commanding.
