"Excuse me!"
"Security!"
Madeline stepped out of the locker room, hearing the commotion. A man was rushing through the hallway, pushing a cart in front of him, with Maggie shouting for security.
"Can someone please help!" The man grunted, clearly in pain, his voice desperate.
"Dr. Sánchez!" Maggie called out, trying to get his attention.
Madeline quickly moved toward the patient, but Maggie raised a hand to stop her in her tracks.
"Sir, look at me," Madeline said calmly, trying to take control of the situation. "We need to get you back into the waiting room."
The man, panicking, glanced around wildly, his breath shallow. "I could have lied; I could have said I had chest pains, you would have had to see me then, but I'm not a liar!" His voice was high-pitched, clearly frantic.
Maggie moved closer, but the patient started pointing at his chest, his face a mask of fear. He looked around the room in panic, unable to stay still.
"Okay, okay. Sir, why don't you just come with me?" Maggie said softly, trying to de-escalate the situation.
"I just need someone to make it stop, please!" The man begged, his voice breaking.
Maggie glanced at Madeline, who nodded, signaling for them to get him to a more secure area. "Okay, we'll get to you as soon as we can," Maggie said, guiding him toward the waiting room.
But suddenly, the man jerked away. "No!" He shouted, pushing Maggie away. In a frenzied motion, he grabbed a nearby pencil and, in one terrifying, erratic movement, jammed it into his ear. The force was enough to snap the pencil in half, leaving him on the floor in agony.
"Will somebody see me now?!" he yelled, his voice guttural as he dropped to his knees.
Madeline reacted immediately, pulling items from her bag to assess him. "Security!" she shouted. "Get him under control, now!"
Ethan rushed to the scene, quickly grabbing the man's arm while security moved in to restrain him. Together, they managed to bring him to the ground.
"Page Dr. Charles now!" Madeline ordered, her voice sharp as she worked to assess the damage.
"Got it," Maggie said, picking up the phone to call Dr. Charles while Madeline continued to check the patient.

"I'm telling you, I'm not crazy!" Mr. Coleman shouted, struggling violently against the nurses who were trying to restrain him to the bed.
"Hello, Mr. Coleman. I'm Dr. Sánchez," Madeline said, trying to remain calm as she checked his heartbeat. "We need you to stay calm."
