When I woke up, everyone had vanished: my father, my sister, but also Raiden and his dogs. I did not know how to feel at first, because all I could think about was the smell and taste of flesh. The thought of battling my sister in the tournament also went through my mind, but also the pleasure of defeating her and giving her head to Shao Kahn. Now, none of this is possible.

It took me a while to realize I had sand in my eyes, which was weird, because if a storm were coming, the tournament would not have taken place today. Only a sorcerer like Shang Tsung could think of such a prank. But this storm, I remember it : It was beyond anything Shang Tsung could do.  Yes, there is no doubt about it. It was an elder god.

So what my father told me was true : there are other elder gods besides Raiden. But who could possibly be behind all this ?

I was all alone in the Koliseum, the scenery was pretty unusual to me : the seats were empty and the monsters who were tortured by the shokan were nowhere to be found. And of course, my father's throne, a most privileged seat, also blessed by the skull of one of the monsters. I'm surprised this one didn't disappear.

This time I decided to prepare myself in case another storm was coming, even though there is no one else to take besides me. I stood up, shook my head and scratched my eyes to let the sand out, and walked to my father's throne. While I was seating, I sensed something coming my way. And it was beyond my expectations : an even bigger and greater storm than the previous one, appeared before me.

Inside this storm, I could see two silhouettes : on the left, a very gracious lady, rather virtuous I would say ; on the right, an imposing man; I could see his eyes light up through the sand

Inside this storm, I could see two silhouettes : on the left, a very gracious lady, rather virtuous I would say ; on the right, an imposing man; I could see his eyes light up through the sand. When they revealed themselves, I recognized one of them : It was the elder goddess Cetrion. I know her from one of my father's ancient book on elder gods. However I didn't know who the man was.

"Come with us Mileena"

Cetrion held out her hand to me, while the mysterious man stood behind her saying nothing.

"What is the meaning of all this? Explain to me !"

"There is nothing to worry about." - Cetrion said, calmly. "Kronika has a special place for you in the new era, as long as you comply"

"Who is this Kronika? I don't want a New era! I want my father and my sister to come back to me! Where are they ?! TELL ME!"                                                                                                                                      And at this moment I already knew what was about to happen. Cetrion's patience was starting to run out.

"I will not repeat myself. Come with us, or face the consequences."

"How about I rip out your throat instead?"

I started fighting Cetrion with all the energy I had left. She was powerful, but unfortunately for her, she was too slow. I dodged every single one of her projectiles, so she decided to face me upfront. Her kombat skills were remarkable too, I have never seen someone as elegant as her in a fight. Before I even realized, she knocked me down using sunlight, burning the skin on my arms as I tried to cover my face.

"Abide Kronika's will !" She screamed while holding a giant rock in the air.

The man didn't assist her, he was just sitting back and observing my moves.

With the strength I had left in my body, I kick-teleported in Cetrion's face, destroying the giant rock she was holding, and knocking her on the ground. She couldn't move anymore. I won't finish her now, because I still need answers about everything that is going on.

"Tell me. Where. Everyone. Went."
