Jade and I sat for over an hour. She didn't complain, nor did she leave my side. After I calmed down, she helped me stand up, and we started walking. It's funny right ? The way I started running from her after our first encounter, and now we're walking side by side. Who would've thought?
Jade : Who would've thought ?
She caught me off guard. It's like she read my mind or something.
Mileena : What-, Pardon me?
Jade : Um, are you alright?
Mileena : oh yeah sorry, you just caught me off guard. What were you saying?
Jade : Who would've thought I'd be walking by your side right now?
Mileena : Definitely not me...
Jade : Me neither...
The more we walked without talking, the more awkward it felt. So Jade decided to break the ice.
Jade : I was just wondering... And you have the right not to answer. How are you dead in this timeline?
Mileena :Nah It's good. It was D'vorah who killed me. While the revenants fought against the special forces, I was trying to take the power and re claim my title as Khanum. At least that's what Cetrion told me.

I stopped for a moment, then realized that the crown wasn't in my possession anymore.
Mileena : The crown... I lost it.
Jade : WHAT IN ARGUS' NAME IS WRONG WITH YOU ?
Mileena : I'm sorry ! I must have dropped it while we were fighting against Skarlet and Kotal. And don't blame me it's not like you thought about taking it either !
Jade : I am going to lose it.
While Jade and I were arguing, the ground started shaking. Suddenly, a bunch of giant insects popped out of the ground, and started surrounding us. I knew exactly the person behind this. It seems like D'vorah is out for my blood again.
Mileena : Looks like someone isn't happy I'm back
Jade : More like an army of insects if you want my opinion.
Before we could land a hit on them, both Jade and I got grabbed into their claws, then got sucked into the ground. Once we got down here, the creatures let go of us, then left. We were both confused about what just happened, but we both knew D'vorah hasdsomething to do with this.
D'vorah : This one is displeased by your presence, Mileena.
The chef of the Kytinn decided to come out of the shadows and face us.

Jade looked at me. She didn't say a thing, but I could see it in her eyes that she tried to tell me that we have to play along.
Turns out D'vorah still thinks Jade is with Kronika. Also I didn't expect to see her in a...costume.
Jade : What's with the nurse outfit ?
D'vorah : Kronika's gift as a reward for my loyalty.
Jade : Careful not to stab her in the back just like you did with Kotal Kahn.
D'vorah : Leave. Now.
Jade left at once, leaving me alone with D'vorah. As soon as she laid eyes on me, I pulled out my twin daggers.
Mileena : Time for some premeditated revenge!
D'vorah : This one shall spit on your grave once more.
💚Jade's POV💚:
To be quite honest, I didn't know what my duty was right now. I had just betrayed a titan that can literally erase me from history, but hasn't done it yet. I wonder what she's planning. I looked back multiple times, wondering if Mileena would be okay, but I know she has what it takes to take down that stupid insect.
As I was discovering the place, I felt the ground shaking again. But this time, it felt like something was coming from above. At my surprise, I saw something I wish I never saw.
It was my first encounter with my human self.
