I left for Shang Tsung's island at once. When I looked back, I saw a few dead bodies from the Wastelands disintegrating and turning to sand. Well, at least they didn't turn into some revenant and try to attack me.
Before arriving at my destination, I had to go through the Lost Sea. I knew this would be a long trip, but unfortunately I had nothing to eat nor drink. But I can do it, If I can last 2 days without eating, then I can try for at least 4 days.
Once again, I got lost in my own thoughts. My fight with Jade is the first thing that came to my mind. Even now, I am still impressed of how strong she had become. Her determination, her strength, and this dark aura surrounding her. After everything that must've happened to her, I still don't get why she keeps serving people, but herself. At least that's what I would've done if I were her.
Kronika has doomed us all.
If only she'd just disappear and leave us all alone, everything would be better. But then, there would be no one to control time, unless somebody can take Kronika's place.
All this thinking was starting to make me tired. I pulled down the anchor, layed down, and took a nap.

Kronika : "I didn't think it was possible for Mileena to outplay me. She is far too dangereous to be kept alive.
Jade, you will go with Kung Lao and Liu Kang to Shang Tsung's island to retrieve my crown. If she lays her hands on it, then it's over for all of us."
Liu Kang : "But we would have to go back to the past again."
Kronika : "You dare question my orders?"
Liu Kang didn't object. Kronika's magic sent the 3 of them to the past, on Shang Tsung's island.

My peaceful nap turned into a long stay at nightmare city. Long enough that I spent the whole day sleeping. I had just dreamt of Kitana telling me she doesn't want anything to do with me and that she wants me dead. Although I knew already that's what she thinks. But that's not the reason I screamed.
I also saw the revenants on their way to stop me and they kept saying that they needed to find Kronika's crown.

Another weird thing was, when I woke up, the ship had arrived at destination. This can't be real, I pulled the anchor down before falling asleep. My father always told me that sleep-walking was a myth, and I believe him.
"Is there anything that Kronika cannot do?!" I said out loud, echoing across the island.
But now wasn't the time for deep thinking nor hesitation. I jumped off the ship, and started looking.
Being here was such an honor for me. The Mortal Kombat tournament has been held here many times. I had dreamt of fighting in the tournament for a long time now, claiming victory upon earthrealmers.
Come to think of earthrealm, we for once, have a common ennemy. As dumb as I think they are already, I doubt they would submit this easily to Kronika. In fact, everyone is probably working all together right now. But of course they would leave ugly and monstruous Mileena behind.
