Told you not to worry

We shared no words. What was there to say?

But maybe that's a lie

The two of us say in a numb silence, Tommy's hands encasing my own. The previous warmth of his skin had since leeched into the frozen air.

Honey, what's your hurry?

I'd thought about the two of us running away for a while. It plagued me.

Won't you stay inside?

I hated thinking like that. We had a duty to L'manberg. To protect it. Even if it meant from its creator.

Remember not to get too close to stars

We'd had our chances and we'd blown them, too scared to oppose the man who lead us, our friend.

They're never gonna give you love like ours

The sun began to set, and without a word, we automatically dropped hands, moving over to our mats.

I didn't sleep.

After a few hours of fruitlessly trying to relax, I sensed movement.

"Tommy?" I called. No response.

His shadow settled over me for a second. He knew I was awake, which was why he didn't speak.

The world's a little blurry

His lips pressed gently to my forehead, cracked and dry.

If he did what I thought he was about to, he'd end up like our friends.

The friends I've had to bury

Fundy, Nikki, Tubbo, Quackity, Eret... Even Schlatt! I see their faces every night.

I see the haunted look in their eyes as I lay them in their caskets, wiping barren tears off my face.

I quickly gathered what I needed, trying to shake feeling into my frozen fingertips.

I knew it would be too late. Wilbur wouldn't hesitate to dispose of Tommy, in the blink of an eye. He wouldn't weep. He'd simply destroy.

I spurred my horse faster, the eternal flames of L'manberg growing closer.

I could hear voices on the wind. Familiar voices.

I practically threw myself off my horse, drawing my sword. I raced through the desolate land, to the stage. The last standing structure.

Their shouts were drowned out by the blood pounding in my ears. I was getting closer. Maybe I'd make it...
