Contestshipping AMV Oneshots

Authors Note: I realize this is not necessarily a contestshipping AMV, but this video makes me laugh and after seeing it again it inspired a contestshipping oneshot. And it's short and sweet like the story shall be. ;)

I do not own anything pokemon, this entire thing is made completely out of fandom. I also do not own the video.

Check out more videos by XxShuukaraxX! She makes these giangantic contestshipping videos where people send her amvs and she puts them all together and uploads them on Contestshipping day (July 10th=Contestshipping day)! I believe that was the date the first episode that Drew was in aired in Japan... so it makes sense.

Without further ado, here it it..

() When it Comes to May.. ()

May and I, after traveling together in Johto for several years decided to go back to Hoeen and compete in festivals in our home region.

Currently it was the end of the seventh contest me and May had entered. I managed to win, barely with my Roserade and newest pokemon Arcinine. May put up an amazing fight with her Glacieon and Beautifly,  but in the end I put on a better performance.

May nodded at me and walked off the Slateport stage.

"Here you all have it! The Slateport contest winner is none other then Drew Hayden! " The announcer said while pointing to me. "Here is your Slateport ribbon!"

I took the ribbon out of her hand and lifted it up in the air, the crowd went even more wild after showing them my ribbon. People in the audience started cheering "Drew! Drew! Drew!" and I just smiled and kept my cool. I took a bow and then walked off stage.

A couple years ago, after I had first met May, I was really nervous around fan girls and people who admired me in general. When I first met May,  I was confident in the way I talked to her. Not once was I ever nervous or flustered when I talked to her.  Over the past 8 years things have managed to get switched. I can now act cool and suave around fan girls,  but anytime May talks to me I can't seem to think straight.

After the contest, I was meeting up with fans of mine. They were asking for autographs and to get pictures with me.

I flipped my hair and shook the girl's hands. I could see the crimson spread across all of the girl's cheeks.

If only I had that effect on May..

I was posing for a picture with the last two people in the line.

"One. Two." Counted down nurse Joy who was taking the picture.

"Three!" A familiar voice shouted while jumping onto my back.

I kept my cool in the picture but then began to turn beet red after my fans had walked away. May began to mess with my hair and I began attempting to get her off my back.

"Drew can't you just piggyback me to the next contest?" She asked while laughing.

" Why would I do that..?"

"Because you're an awesome rival!"

I again tried to get May off my back. This time I finally succeeded!

"Are you alright Drew?" She asked looking at me concerned,  "You're bright red! Do you have a fever?"

"I think I'm-"

She had ran away before I could finish my sentence. . I walked outside the Slateport Contest Arena and began walking on the beach shores.

Why can't I just admit to her how I feel!? If I keep acting like a dork in front of her she will eventually find out something is wrong.. even if it is May she will find out at some point.

May rushed back over to me and stuck something in my mouth.  I again turned bright red.

"Drew you shouldn't be in the direct sun light! If you have a fever that's going to make you even hotter!"

Being in the sun makes me hotter ;)

I let a smirk creep across my face and may just stared an me intent on the thermometer sticking out of my mouth.

The thing beeped and May pulled it close to her face to read what my temperature was.

"It's a normal temperature.. then how come your so red?" She asked.

Cough cough, I should say something.

"Well I am sick, May." I responded.

"With what?" Her eyes widened.

I swallowed, " I have the love bug!" I blurted out.

That sounded a whole lot better in my head. .

May giggled and grabbed my arm and began dragging me back to the contest arena.

I looked at her perplexed.

"You need to tell Solidad right away! I'll go call her up!" May said while running to call Solidad.

Gosh May.. how can you not see it's you.. not Solidad.
