Yerin gulped nervously, sitting on the table right in front of the boy she's familiar with. They shared a few glances, but she didn't have the guts to let a single word out. Her brothers noticed her being so tense and they knew the exact reason why. Beomgyu tried to hold on his laugher, playfully raising his eyebrows at the younger girl.
Yerin never knew that her father is actually close with Park Jisung's father. She never expected any of this. She never even knew that he's an only son. He's wearing a black tuxedo and his hair is styled nicely. It's her first time seeing him other than his leather jacket or his school uniform. She can't lie to herself, he does look attractive tonight.
The whole athmosphere is very elegant, especially because of the soft classical music playing in the background. It's really the definition of high-class, deluxe family dinner that could only be enjoyed by people like them.
"So Jiwoon, how's it going with your business lately?"
The man smiled, taking a sip of his wine. "Great, I can't wait for my son to inherit all of the family business."
"Our Yeonjun is also going to work for our company soon since he's the oldest." Yerin's mother, Seora said, her eyes sparkling at the thought of her own son running the family business.
"How old is your son?" Seojun asked, looking at the young man sitting in front of Yerin.
Chaerin, Jisung's mother smiled at his son, looking at Jiwoon with a smile full of pride. "He's 17 now."
Seora smiled. "Oh really? He's the same age as Yerin."
"Do you perhaps know each other?"
Yerin glanced at Jisung and he just flashed her a cold stare. He wanted to avoid that question because it could lead to something he doesn't want. But he knew that her father won't ever put him in an arranged marriage, so even if he answers yes that's probably not going to happen.
"Yes." He plainly said, making Yerin look at him in surprise. The two mothers smiled to each other, somehow happy about the situation. "Are you two close?"
Beomgyu almost choked on his food upon hearing the question. Yerin turned her head towards him, clearly threatening him by her stare. "Sorry."
Yerin chuckled awkwardly, shaking her head. "We're not necessarily close but we do hang out sometimes. We're in the same class too."
"That's great then! There's a classical music show next week, if you want to join us, that'd be wonderful."
Yerin mentally face palmed herself, looking at the boy who already glared at her. She regretted saying that because now, she's stuck with him.

Anger, resentment, outrage.
Feeling suffocated by the hot air, Jisung grabbed his water bottle, finishing all of the liquid left. He then proceeds to walk towards the punching bag, repeatedly punching it with all his might. He's alone in the training room, doing his training routine.
Images from the dinner last night flashed through his mind and he groaned in annoyance, releasing his anger by punching the punching bag as hard as he could.
"Seems like you made a new friend, a girl again huh? Let's see how long she's going to stay before she leaves you again."
His sweat keeps on dripping from his head and his hands are slowly going numb. But he didn't stop, he grabbed his gun, walking towards the shooting target, pulling the trigger and it hits right in the middle. After all, he's an excellent shooter.
"She must not know about your condition, I don't want Seojun to know about your pathetic condition."
His breath started to get heavier as he get back to the puching bag, imagining it as if that's his father. But the voices inside of his head won't stop. It keeps on ringing inside of his head, corrupting his mind.
He lets out a loud scream that's full of pain, collapsing his body to the ground. His breath is completely unsteady, his chest rising up and down rapidly as he tried to steady his breath.
At this moment, he hated everything, including himself.

The next day, Yerin noticed that Jisung is feeling even way worse than the day before. He's mindlessly drawing random things on his notebook, as if he's really disconnected from the reality.
Yerin sighed to herself, thinking it must be her fault for making them go to the classical music show next week. He looks like he's not the type of person to enjoy those kind of things.
"Alright class, we're done for today. Please submit the task before the due date, that's all from me." The teacher said before leaving the classroom
As soon as the class ended, Jisung immediately stood up from his chair, walking out from the classroom. Yerin looked at him in pity, sighing to herself again. She took her favorite drink from her bag, strawberry milk.
She was about to leave the classroom when she suddenly think of a brilliant but cliché thing to do. She grinned to herself, walking back towards her chair to grab a sticky note and her pen. She wrote something on it before sticking it on the strawberry milk. She looked around the room to make sure everyone already exited the classroom.
Smiling to herself, she puts the strawberry milk on the table beside her's- Park Jisung's table. After that, she walked out of the classroom with a wide smile on her face. She didn't know why she felt so happy after giving him the note, she didn't even know why she gave him that in the first place.
She just did.
Dear Park Jisung,
How are you feeling today? I hope you're happy, don't forget to eat and take care of yourself! I hope this strawberry milk will cheer you up. Even if things are dark now, I know you will shine as bright as the star, or even the sun one day.
