"Falling in love is a dangerous thing, darling, Especially if it's with me."
It all started when their laptop accidentally got switched. They met at the worst circumstances, but they can't seem to stay away from each other. What else can they do? T...
"Let me guess, your brothers gave you an hour long lectures?" Ryujin asks
Yerin groaned, lazily walking towards her classroom. "Of course they did,"
If only Jisung drove her back to her house last night, she wouldn't be that late.
"It's because of that stupid Park Ji—"
She stopped her sentence as soon as she spotted the guy, standing there a few meters away from her. "See you later Ryujin, I have something to do,"
She gripped the handle of her bag tightly as she stormed towards him. He had his back facing her so she couldn't see his face clearly. She stood behind him, tapping his back making him turn around. "You! How could you— wait what happened to you?"
Her voice softened at the end as soon as she saw his face. His face is full of bruises and cut and his eyes looks tired- lifeless. He ignored her words, turning around to open his locker. Yerin looked at him, eyes filling with concern. "Park Jisung, I'm asking you a question."
He slammed his locker shut, looking at her with his usual, cold eyes. "Do I look like I'm okay?"
"Well no but—"
"Brilliant, now leave me alone."
He turned around to leave but Yerin stopped her by grabbing his arm and he immediately winced in pain. He gave her a dirty look and she only frowned, pulling his leather jacket down to reveal his arms.
He abruptly took his arm away from her, right before she could see the massive cut right on his left arm. Yerin looked at him in disbelief, grabbing him by his right arm as she started walking towards the nursery room.
Opening the door with her other hand, fortunately for them there's no one inside. She pushed him to sit on the bed, taking the bandage, betadine, and cotton ball. Sitting down next to him, she cupped his cheeks, careful not to touch his wounds.
They both sit there in silence as she carefully took the cotton ball, applying some betadine to the wounds on his face. He didn't know why he helped her with this, they're not that close anyways.
After she finished applying it to his face, she looked at him straight in the eye, noticing how small the distance between them. Clearing her throat, she moved back, "take your jacket off."
"Why—"
"I said take it off, let me see your arm."
He sighs in defeat, taking his leather jacket off. He's still wearing his school uniform so he lifted it up a little and Yerin widened her eyes as soon as she saw the huge cut on his arm. "Oh god, seriously where'd you get all of these wounds?"
"None of your business,"
Yerin rolled her eyes, pressing on his wound a little, making him wince.
"Ouch! Alright, alright, sorry."
She chuckled, wrapping the bandage around his arm. "Okay, it's done,"
She looked at him again, now making eye contact with the boy. He brought her hands towards his necktie, fixing it as it was so messy before. "You're such a mess, Ji."
Jisung groaned, rolling her eyes at her making the girl chuckle. "Stop calling me that."
"You need to stop fighting, last time you were here because you're fighting with a senior, right?"
He only gave her a blank look. Deep down, he wants to stop. But he can't because that's a part of his job- his life.

"Hello, what's your name?"
Jisung stayed quiet, looking at the girl next to him. She's new here, it's his first time seeing her. The girl is smiling at him, but he didn't smile back at her. Instead, he left her, sitting alone in her chair.
"Jisung, do you want to play with me?"
Once again, Jisung ignored her. He was always a loner and she's the complete opposite of him. She's a bright and vibrant girl, he was just a lonely star.
"Do you ever talk, Jisung?"
No matter how many times she tried to talk to him, he always ignored her. She never see him smile, not even once. The only thing he ever gave to her is his icy glare.
Until one day. The day the girl almost lose hope in everything. Her father died that day and she came to school crying under the rain. He gave her his umbrella, and she stopped crying, frowning at his sudden action.
"It hurts, losing someone you love."
"I know,"
That was her first time hearing him talk. She smiled lightly, forgetting about her father for a second.
"What's your name?" He asked
"Yuna, Kim Yuna."
The night where the stars are asleep over the familiar and unfamiliar river. They were friends, he was close to being happy again.
But eventually, it ends as a memory for him. It all ended up being nothing as he lost his source of happiness once again.
