When I consider how to light a spark,
To light your days in this world dark and wide,
And that one fear which time you bide,
The hands of clocks move on to hit their mark.

Your gift God given and by God taken,
An anger, a rage, burning soul from within,
"Will this plague take hold of my kin?"
Patience you need, it speaks out loud and true "awaken".

The world still alive, soon you'll find your light,
Creator blind, no sight, works night to day,
A king of words, oh mighty the mind of his.

Kingly man behold the thousands who watch you write,
In darkness you shine the spark to lead the way,
So stand and wait, for the spark of light truly bright is.
