She was shocked to see the both on them kissing each other. Firdausi was lying in his arms, they were in a romantic position, everything just looked impossible. It was so confusing that, Humaira ran out of the room.

"Hummy! Hummy!! It's not what you think, please!" Avoiding him with tears in her eyes.

"Why are you after me, Nubby! Just leave me alone. We're not in a relationship anyways but I'm so disappointed! I'm really disappointed in you, Mubby. So you're actually seeing my best friend? I hate you!" He tried explaining.

"I tried to tell you but you always avoided me. I came here today for you and wallahi... Its my first time here. I mean-"

"Keep the stories to yourself, Mubby! Maybe were not meant to be together after all." The tears made the words sound cracky. She just had to leave.

Firdausi came to meet them outside. She grabbed Mubashir by his arm and gave him a soft peck on his right cheek.

Humaira wore an angry face. The friend she trusted the most, betrayed her.
Firdausi who was watching with a proud glare, rolled her eyes towards her friend and burst out into laughter.

Humaira couldn't help but to wonder why. She hated her even more and her blood was boiling from within.
"Stop making jess of her, Firdausi." Mubashir warned.

"Okay." She muttered and stopped at once.

"You should be ashamed of yourself, Humaira. Who would want to be in a relationship with a pregnant woman? Or you think that he wouldn't know?"

"Firdausi..." Tear drops steamed down her eyes in disbelief. "You actually told him that?

"Yes, I did." she faced Humaira.
"I was a good friend. I wouldn't hide a secret from him. And for your information, We're now in a relationship. Yes, Mubashir and I. You're pregnant for another man so..."

"Good for both of you. You're just the same thing anyways, I can't watch any of your rubbish! I'm out of here!” She wiped away her tears and leaves their side.

"Humaira! Firdausi called again. "You've been a fool all along. I want to tell you a secret... because I believe you trusted me so much. I'm not interested in being your friend or earning your trust. And as far as I'm concerned, consider this friendship over."
Humaita never felt so blank and empty. Especially with firdausi's last word. It sounded so cruel, just like she is.

"Just leave her alone Firdausi. You've said enough, haven't you?" Mubashir interfered.

"Don't worry darling. There's something important I need to discuss with her. Just go inside. I'll be right back."
She touched his jawline with a sexy smile and he just went back inside.
"What's it, Firdausi. You've always wanted Mubby anyways. Now you can have him... Now, let me go please."

"I was sent to this school to break you, Humaira!" She let out with full boldness and self confidence. As if she was proud of it, somehow.
"He promised to sponsor my education. Everything you know about me is a lie. I told him a lot you but not everything."

"What are you talking about Firdausi?" Humaira turned to her again, with tears. Hoping she was just making things up to hurt her.

"It's seems you're dump! You still don't get, do you?" She walked to the front of Humaira, facing her directly. "I mean the man who impregnated you, sent me here to watch on you till the end of your studying here... I'm not even interested in your Mubby or whatever you call him. I have better plans and I don't believe in love. Just using him to my advantage which is, to probably dump you."

"You mean Alhaji Musa sent you here? Just to spy on me?" Tears of regret made icy scales in Humaira's eyes. As if a part of her got shattered.

"Hmmm." She nodded.

"What? You must be crazy! And you never told me all this while?! I hate you, Firdausi." Humaira spat at her with anger.

"Hahahahaaaa! You can say that again." She crooked smirk formed on her lips.

"I don't know why but... The hair on my head has literally turned invisible since I started using this stupid ozone relaxer." Khair muttered in front of the mirror when Humaira came in.

Zayda and others in the room turned to her as she interrupted. She didn't pay attention as usual. Just went straight to her bed.

"This girl sef, she's so rude. Always keeping to herself and feeling important. Mteew!" Another strange looking girl in lemon-green wig hissed.

"The worse part of it is that, she don't have anything. If she's having something now, shebi people would know what she's bragging about..."

But Humaira didn't give them a reply. She knew they just want to piss her off even more. Perhaps, they came to school for gossips.

Kelechi just entered too. Probably from her usual night vigil or the library. No one would truly tell because anywhere she goes, she carries her bible.

Just as Kelechi walked in, the noise settled a bit. They know their senior is back so they gave her a one minute silence or so.

She placed her bible by the left corner of her bed. Then she rushed to the toilet. It was so sudden.

Too bad, Cynthia was in the room. She looked at her friends awkwardly as they all burst into laughter.

Humaira wondered why. Why can't someone have privacy in her own room. And they're not reading. All they gather to do is to gossip like witches and nothing more. As if they're always praying for someone's downfall. They wait for the right time to make fun of somebody, even if their lives isn't perfect.

Kelechi came back to lay on her bed. She didn't look good. It was if she was sick or weakened by something.

"Whatever... " Khair hissed under her breath and continued the gossip when Kelechi rushed into the toilet. She was vomiting so hard and looked so weak.

"Wait, is it what I'm thinking?" Cynthia wisphered.

"Is she pregnant?"
