So I found this really awesome fanart and it inspired me to make this fanfic. I'm not sure where it's going so we'll see!

I yelled out as my hand slipped, my fingers managed to grasp the last end of the rope. my fingers were turning numb and the rain was making the rough twine slippery. Rain pelted down, pouring full on until I could barely see. I gritted my teeth, wiping the bangs that were sticking to my skin out of my face.
Those bloody ninja.
I hated them so much.
My hateful thoughts must've cursed me. Irony laughing in my face when suddenly my eye caught a flash of green.
No.
No, no, no, no-
"What's this?" I cursed when a head appeared over the side. The distinct green hood covering the face of my onlooker.
Dammit.
"A little hater in need of help?" The green ninja teased.
"Shut it." I snarled, glaring with hatred at the guy as his acidic gaze looked over my situation. He reached down and I balked, my feet skidding along the side of the cliff I was hanging off of. The movement loosened my grip and I cried out once more when the rope threatened to slip from my fingers. I tensed against it, my body curling in on itself. I was tired, cold, wet and fed up. A sob almost escaped from my lip.
"Hey, hey, hey!" His voice gentle and slightly hushed, like calming a spooked wild animal. "I'm just trying to help!"
"I don't want your help! Go away!" I shouted. The words seemed to come out childish as I peered at the long, long, way down.
I heard a very long sigh come from the ninja and for a second there was silence. I waited for a beat, wondering if goody-green shoes had actually left. Then I pondered if I had just made the most stupid mistake in my life. Then I proceeded to inwardly kick myself. Before I could actually kick myself I became aware of a body beside me.
I jumped and my jaw dropped when I realized who it was. The blasted broccoli ninja himself. He had somehow repelled himself down so quietly I hadn't noticed him when I was wrapped up in my thoughts.
I must be slipping. I thought to myself. He's literally dressed in bright green.
"Come on." The green ninja said. A no-nonsense tone was put on.
I scowled, glancing up as I tried to think of any other solution. Unfortunately, he seemed to be the only one.
So I swallowed my pride and allowed him to wrap the rope around my waist. He was in the middle of tying it when suddenly my tense, purples fingers gave away. I'm ashamed to say I screamed as suddenly my heart rose into my throat. The sucking feeling of falling making my insides turn inside out. As quickly as I fell something wrapped grabbed my wrist.
Crap.
Silence hung still as I just dangled by the black gloves hand of the green ninja. He grunted with the effort of our combined weight as he struggled to pull me up. I could see his muscles in his arm contracting and his green gaze narrowed from the effort. I gasped out laboured breaths, trying not to panic as my wrist began to have a sharp pain in it from his tight grip. His green sleeve fell and for a moment I thought I saw a flash of something shiny. At the time I didn't think much of it. Assuming it was lightning or water playing tricks on me.
But there was an odd twinge and an unsettling snap that concerned me greatly. Following the noise was even more startling. The green ninja's arm jerked and he let out a huge scream of pain, his face twisting with the yell. But through the agony he suddenly yanked me upwards, tossing me up and over the edge until I landed sprawled on the edge.
I scrambled back to the side of the cliff but the green ninja was already propelling himself up. I offered him a hand and he took it with his left. I had offered my left as well so it was a little awkward to try and get him up. He gripped my forearm and levered himself up until we were both safe and sound.
I collapsed and just laid there. Exhausted. Shivering to my bones. The blood still streaked on my cheek. My wrist throbbing. My head was pounding. The small camping signalled the green ninja falling to his knees beside me. His right arm held limp and his left hand was wrapped protectively over it as he just flopped down with a groan beside me.
Silence.
"I still hate you," I mumbled, my arm thrown over my face.
To my surprise, his response involved vulgar language and raising a rude hand gesture my way.
****
"Lloyd!"
I was too tired and in too much pain to register the arms heaving me to my feet. But as I blinked away the rain I could see the shapes of the ninja team entered.
Who was Lloyd-
My eyes widened.
I had spent so long digging around for the green ninja's identity and yet they just spout it out as if nothing happened. None of them seemed to notice the slip-up as the fire ninja got Lloyd to his feet.
"We leave you alone for five seconds and everything blows to the Departed Realm." The angry water element grumbled, shooting me a scolding glare at Lloyd. I watched as they brought their flying ship down, a large gurney starting to come from the side.
"Sorry," Lloyd mumbled, words slurred. I was suddenly noticing how he was swaying on his feet.
"Lloyd...greenie..." Fire ninja said suddenly. "You're arm."
I couldn't help the gasp of surprise when I focused on his right arm. It hung limp but the glove had slipped off. Revealing shining metal where flesh and bone should've been. But what they seemed more concerned about was the hanging hand that was ripped from the robotic wrist and hanging by only a few wires while others were torn. The skin around the metal where it stopped was an angry red and swelling, dark veins creeping up it.
"We need to get him to the med bay." The girl said urgently.
The black-clad one and the obnoxious red ninja nodded and quickly heaved the delirious Lloyd onto the gurney.
"Get him up, Pix!"
I watched as he was pulled slowly up and the ninja turned to each other, sombre expressions on their faces. But their faces immediately changed when they set their eyes on me.
"What the heck are you doing here?"

Part two????
I wasn't sure where I was going. I had planned on doing something with this image for a while but I couldn't think of anything that inspired me. Then I read some fanfic and came up with some fun ideas!
One of which was a male love interest!
I mean, why not?
I'm not sure what spurred me but I had fun with his character. I'm yet to give him a name but feel Freetown give suggestion!
