Year 1: Talking to the Moon

You walked back to your common room forgetting that you slept in your robes. You got to the Slytherin entrance and when you entered. You saw Malfoy with his what you liked to call minions on the couch.

"Hitting on boys already Y/l/n?"

You rolled your eyes ignoring him probably meaning because your hair was a mess.

You walked to your dorm and got changed and fixed your hair. You left and went to breakfast and everyone was gone already.

You saw Harry, Ron, and the poofy haired girl at the Gryffindor table and you went to sit next to them. For some reason your face turned red when you saw Harry but he was completely oblivious to it.

"I never introduced myself. I'm Hermione Granger."

"Hi Hermione, I'm Y/n Y/l/n"

You all had breakfast and then headed to your first class together which was potions but it was one of the only classes you had with Gryffindor.

When you walked into the classroom, he gave you an awful look but you ignored it and proceeded to your seat. You and Harry sat down next to each other as Ron and Hermione did. Class was quite boring today as he just went over boring basic stuff.

You had other classes but they were also boring and then it was after class when you walked dreadfully to Snapes classroom.

When you walked in he glared at you and said "Ms. Y/l/n I'm surprised you showed up".

"What else was I supposed to do? Get expelled?"

He pointed to a desk and told you sit so you sit and put a large stack of papers in your desk. "You are not to leave until these are all complete.".

When he turned away you gave him a mocking face and started your work. Your classes ended at 3:00 and it was 5:10 when you finished everything. You had an aching hand due to all the writing but you proceeded to leave.

Once you walked out you decided to go and try to find Harry. You went to the Gryffindor common room since you remembered the password. He wasn't in there so you went and knocked on his dorms door. No one answered so you left and went to the great hall and he wasn't there either. You looked everywhere possible but you couldn't find him.

You finally gave up and went to the astronomy tower and sat down looking at the moon. You started talking to it and then decided you were crazy. You tried talking to your father through the moon but obviously he couldn't hear. You then decided to try and talk to Harry through it. You were having a full on conversation with the moon. You repeated this every late night. Harry always wondered where you went during late nights since you hated the Slytherin common room, he knew you weren't in there.

This went on for a few weeks until one November night, a face appeared in the moon. You couldn't tell whose face it was but right after, the face disappeared.

Then you realized how late it was so you decided to go to the Gryffindor common room.

Once you got there everyone was sitting on the couch whereas Harry was pacing.

"Calm down Harry I'm sure she's alright" Hermione told Harry.

Then when you were bus able for everyone Harry had said angry "where have you been?! We've been looking everywhere for you! Every night you just disappear!".

"Erm yeah I uh... I like to take a walk around the castle.".

Everyone gave you a look as they knew you were lying.

"Well you're not allowed to anymore." Harry exclaimed.

"What why?!"

"Because I know you're lying and you obviously are doing something you don't want us to know about."
