I- Chapter 9

We all drove to the beach and met up with everyone
I was talking to Isla, Jacks younger sister, Reese and Ryan, Zachs younger brother and sister when someone tapped my shoulder.
I look back and I see my parents. I thought "oh god here we go" I hide my nervousness and fake a smile while hugging them both
Me: what are you guys doing here? You're supposed to be coming tomorrow
Dad: we got an earlier flight

(A/N: I'm just gonna call them by their first names)

Carrie: Hi honey how are- omg Jonah!
She walks over to him and I sit back down kinda hurt. I play with Reese Isla and Ryan for most of the time there. I was getting hot I took off the sweatshirt and sat in the sand. Daniel came and sat next to me, we were sitting close and he just came out of the water so I could feel water dripping on me. We were watching isla Ryan and Reese make sandcastles.

//3 person POV//
Daniel: Come on we're going in the water.
Ellie: No I don't want to.
Daniel: we're going.
He was about to grab you but you moved away before he could and you ran.
He chased you around the beach while you tried your best to avoid people.
Keri: guys stop running!
Ellie: HE WONT STOP CHASING ME!!!
Daniel: YOU WONT GO IN THE WATER!!!
The moms laugh and so do the dads
You were running around everyone when you hid behind Jonah and used him as a shield. Daniel was in front of Jonah.
Jonah: what's happening?
Daniel: I'm trying to take her in the water
Jonah winks at Daniel and Daniel smirks
Jonah grabs you from behind him and hands you off to Daniel. Daniel grabs you and throws you over your shoulder.

Ellie: NO STOPP WHAT ARE YOU DOING
Daniel was getting close to the water
Ellie: NO I CANT SWIM!!
Daniel stops and shouts to Jonah
Daniel: YO JONAH!
Jonah: YEAH?
Daniel: CAN SHE SWIM?!
Jonah: WTH YEAH SHE WAS COMPETITIVE FOR LIKE 3 years
Daniel: lying isn't good
Ellie: I hate both of you
Daniel laughs and he bring you into the water
Ellie: let gooo let go!! LET. GO.
Daniel: okay fine
He lets go of you in the water and you drop in the water splashing him
He laughs and you move your now wet hair out of your face
Ellie: I literally hate you
Daniel can't even get a word out because he's laughing so hard
Ellie: ZACHHH
Zach looks at them
Zach: WHAT?!
Ellie: ATTACK

Zach runs for his life into the water and jumps on Daniel while Daniel tries to get him off.
Everyone in the sand was just laughing and the rest of the band came in and attacked both you and Daniel
Y/n: OW
They all stopped and you winked at Daniel
He smirked and you jumped on Jonahs back while Daniel brought Zach and Jack down.
You guys laughed so hard when Zach tried to attack you but you finessed him and he ended up falling in the water.

//Moms POV//
Saskia: Daniel and Ellie seem to have gotten close...
She said smirking.
Myta: Yeah they have.
Keri: They're kinda cute
All the moms look at the band plus Ellie coming back .
Kirstin: They would be a good couple.
Carrie: no I don't think Ellie could hold a bf
All the moms were shocked Carrie said that about her own child. You were drying off and you heard her say it. So did the rest of the band. They all looked at you. You wait a second before you say anything
Ellie: I'm uh- I'm gonna go get a quick snack
Timothy: oh but we-
Jonah nods no to him and Timothy stops talking.
Daniel follows you.

//Ellie/ you POV //
I CAN NOT believe my mom would say something as hurtful as that. I thought there was some sort of line she wouldn't cross but I guess I was wrong. Honestly she's right, Jonah is always gonna be the funny, successful, better one and I'll always be the disappointment. I stop walking when I get out of their view. I sat down in he sand thinking about how much easier life would be if I just wasn't here.

Then someone sits next to me. I look over and I see Daniel with his hat on his head looking at the waves like I was.
Daniel: You know she's wrong right
Me: No she's not, she's always right I should just leave.
Daniel looks at me and gets up
Daniel: get up
Me: why
Daniel: just get up
I get up and stand in front of him
He wraps his arms around my neck and pulls me in for a hug. I immediately hug him back and he rests his head on top of mine. His hands were in my hair.
Daniel: Don't ever leave. You have Jonah you have me you have Corbyn Zach Jack. You have Kai you're bsf and so many others don't believe whatever is said about you because I know you and so do many other people. Don't get lost in the negative, it's not worth it.

I hold him tighter and he smiles. I start to cry but Daniel doesn't say anything comforts me.
