M- Chapter 13

~The next morning~
(Still Daniel POV)
I woke up and Ellie was on the other side of the bed so I got up and left the room. I bumped into all the boys.

Corbyn: Hey Daniel
He smirked and I looked at him weirdly.
Me: What
Corbyn: don't you think Ellie is just beautiful?
Zach: or really pretty
Jack: and her personality just adds to how much you-
Jack pauses imitating Daniel.
Jonah: how much what?
All of them except Daniel: how good of a person she is
I smack my forehead while blushing.
Daniel: oh god you heard...

//3rd person POV//
They all started laughing and teasing Daniel on the way downstairs.
Daniel was sitting on the kitchen counter while all the guys were teasing him and making snarky remarks. Ellie came downstairs while Zach was finishing his sentence
Zach: you're a simp
Ellie : Who's a simp?
all the boys: NO ONE
Ellie looks at them weirdly and sits at the dinning table with a bowl of cereal.
Jonah sits next to her.
Jonah: okay sooooo
Ellie: oh god what
Jonah: are you serious
Ellie: what?
Jonah: next week? a special day? next friday to be more specific?
Ellie: huh?
Jonah: dumb. dumb as hell.

Jonah nods his head
Ellie: instead of being so irritating can you just say it
jonah: YOUR BIRTHDAY IDIOT
Ellie: oh ew
Jonah: Noooooo
Zach: why ew
Zach sits nexts at the table
Ellie: I just don't like it
Zach: we'll do something fun come on!!!
Ellie: as long as I don't wake up to you staring at me with a bowl of cereal in your hand
Zach: THAT WAS ONE TIME
Ellie: TWO TIMES
Zach thinks about it
Zach: oh yeahhhh
You guys laugh and spend the day chilling

// 1 week later//
// Ellie's/ your POV //

I woke up to people jumping on my bed. I sit up and open my eyes to see everyone jumping on my bed
I start laughing as they stop. They all pile up on me and hug me

All: HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Me: thank you!!... now leave I need to get ready
Jonah: hurry up I have a great gift for you that's waiting downstairs.
I smiled and nod as I get my towel and shower.

~10 minutes later~
I get out of the shower and wear a black cropped hoodie and some black high waisted deniem shorts. I head downstairs and see everyone around the kitchen island.

Jonah: are you ready?
Me: yes
As soon and I said yes someone tackled me to the ground
I scream as I hit the floor. I see their face and gasp.
Me: KAIIIIIII
I hug her back and laugh
We both get up and smile while everyone else laughs.
Kai: I have a gift as well
??: me!
I turn around to see Jonahs bsf Shawn (A/N he's not a real person I made him up same goes for Kai)
Me: return it
Shawn: RUDE MINI MARAIS
I laugh and hug him
Zach: OUR TURN

I laugh and Zach drags me to the living room where there is a tiny kids fire trunk for kids to ride in.
I burst out laughing.
Me: I LOVE IT!
Zach: YAY!!
I hug Zach and we go outside while everyone stays inside.
Zack and I were laying in the middle of the driveway when he sits up
Zach: Ellie.
Me: Yes Zachary.
Zach: When are you gonna date Daniel?
Me: Wdym?
Zach: When are going to date Daniel? Everyone sees the way you two look at each other and the way you guys act around each other plus the constant smiling and blushing.
Me: I don't hide it very well do I?
Zach: If it makes you feel better Daniel doesn't either
Me: Daniel doesn't like me like that, he thinks of me as a friend.
Zach: That's not true, the boys and I see him blushing and nervous around you ALL THE TIME. And hey let's not forget the weird eye contact moments you guys have.
Me: That doesn't mean anything
Zach: You're an idiotic genius, you finish your semester early because you were ahead of the curriculum but you can't see how much this boy likes you.
Me: Because he doesn't
Zach: He does but anyways, you like him don't you?
Me: Maybe...
Zach smiles and starts celebrating.
Zach: it's going to be my mission to get you two together
Me: oh god
You and Zach laugh and talk for a while before heading inside.
