We just hug for what feels like forever but I wasn't complaining. Daniel was warm and he made me feel safer. I was starting to feel better in his arms.
Daniel let go after he felt me loosen my grip and let go.
Me: let's go back
Daniel: are you sure?
Me: yeah, I can just say I ate the snack on the way back.
Daniel nods and we fake a smile and act like we had a fun time
We got back and Carrie looks at me
Carrie: where's your snack
Me: I ate it
Carrie: you're supposed to pace your eating or else you'll get fatter
I nod and grab Jonahs hoodie and put it on.
Daniel looks at me and mouths "you're beautiful"
I nod me head no and look down at my phone
Anna was watching everything including Daniel and I (Anna is Daniels sister)
Anna: Hey Ellie let's go play some games on the boardwalk
I fake smile and walk with her
Anna: are you okay?
I shrug my shoulder and after a little while I feel comfortable around her and answer her questions about everything. After answering her questions about my mom she asks one thing
Anna: okay I have one last question
I smile and nod
Anna: you and my brother
I smile slightly blushing
Me: we're just friends
Anna: but you like him
Me: I mean yeah but he doesn't think of me that way.
Anna: are you blind?
I chuckle and she scolds me as we come back to everyone.
There was a fire and I sat in between Daniel and Corbyn.
I started talking to Corbyn
He was whispering
Corbyn: So you and the giraffe huh?
I laugh.
Me: There is no me and the giraffe.
Corbyn: Yet...
Me: Nope I have no idea what you're talking about
Corbyn: are you serious? First it's the sleeping and cuddling and then it's the weird flirts and y'all were having a moment while hugging. You guys have been like this for 2 MONTHS and still nothings happened.
Me: okay wait how do you know all this?
Corbyn: Cause I'm not blind.
I laugh and then Jonah interrupts the conversation
Jonah: think you can play?
He hands me my guitar and I smile. He half smiles
Me: any requests
Reese: 8 LETTERS!!!!
The boys laugh as I chuckle.
I start to play the acoustic version while the boys sing.
