The next day Katara and Sokka got ready and made sure to go with there plan

After Katara got out of the car and slammed the door with Sokka nagging her, she fixed her hair, and looked to see Aang playing on his phone in the distance and waved at him but he doesn't wave back

(ok maybe he didn't see me) she thought
She went closer and said
"hey Aang watcha doin"
"honestly not much you" Aang put down he phone to make eye contract with Katara
Katara blushed
"yea nothin much, waiting for the gang?" Katara asked breaking eye contract pointing to the gate
"yea, by the way where is Sokka" Aang said looking at the gate and back at her
"in the car, when he sees Suki he will come" Katara pointed to Sokka waiting in the car
"i seee, he has a crush of her?" Aang asked leaned closer to Katara's face
"w-what h-how" Katara backed away
"i have my ways ~" Aang winked making Katara blush cherry red
A few more minutes past and the full gang arrived and Katara and Aang went to their homeroom where Katara sat next Aang again.
"Aang what are we going to do about the project?" Katara questioned while pointing to Aang's sketch
"i dunno...want to come with me to the art store to get supplies?" Aang asked
"i'd love to!" Katara smiled
Aang turned away and played on his phone
(ugh on his phone again, he definitely doesn't like me and i shouldn't have made that deal with Sokka) Katara thought then looking at her phone
16 minutes pasted and the bell dismissed them and they went to their assigned classes and this time Sokka had the same class as Aang so he could bring up the question.
"Hey Aang what do you think of Katara?" Sokka said putting an arm on his shoulders
Aang looked annoyed at first which Sokka noted
"she's a great friend!" Aang smiled
"now let's get to work" Aang looked down grabbing a pen
Sokka looked down to what he was writing and got he phone out
~ KATARA (HAIR LOOPIES) ~
SOKKA:hey
KATARA:hey Sokka what did Aang say?
SOKKA:well...he said you were a great friend
KATARA:oh...ok
Katara went off the phone and sighed for what the day will bring
After school was out Aang waited for Katara and Katara went in and they went to a nearby art store and like a gentleman Aang opened the door for Katara and they went to different section Katara looked at the coloured papers and stickers and took some and went to the next section to find Aang surrounded my girls and needing to get out so badly Aang ran to Katara
"sorry guys i have a girlfriend!"
Katara was confused until Aang went to a different section and looked around and pinned her to the wall
"sorry Katara for putting you in that situation, those girls were crazy" Aang said with a smile
Katara was red for one he called her girlfriend and the second she was pinned to the wall by him
Aang looked at her stuff and gently took it and checked out and went to the car where Katara followed behind him and after made their way to the cinema to watch the movie Zuko had been dying to watch, Aang sat next to Katara which sat next to Zuko which sat next to Toph which sat next to Sokka and Suki. During the movie Katara glared at Aang and every time he looked back she turned away blushing madly but the movie Zuko had been dying to watch turned out to be a bad and boring movie and everyone but Aang and Zuko didn't sleep and when Aang was watching nearly to the end he felt Katara sleep on his shoulder and didn't dare shift for her🎆
