I walked to the black gates of Malfoy Manor with Draco next to me. I looked behind me to see someone carrying my bags, and my owl Smokey in her cage. I walked over to him and grabbed Smokey and stood next to Draco as we watched the gates open.

I followed him to the front of the doors and he says to me "They'll take your things up to your room for you." I nod my head and say thanks. I follow Draco down the hall and into a spacious room with a gigantic grey sofa. "This is the main room, Nobody ever really comes in here though. It's called a family room actually." I stay silent.

"So what do you want to do?" he plops himself down on the sofa. "What have you always wanted to do but never done?" He looks concerned, "I haven't really thought about anything." I sit down next to him. "Well, what do you usually do?" He smiles. "Stay in my room." I raise my brows, "There isn't much to do around here anyway." he says.

I scoff, "It's a literal mansion. Although we don't have to stay here at the Manor..." A mischievous grin forms on my face. He leans closer. "What do you have in mind?" he looks intrigued. "Let's go into the muggle towns!" I tell him all excitedly. He gives me a mug.

"C'mon Malfoy. I know you always wanted to, you don't really hate muggles. Your father does, and you are not your father." He sighs and looks at me, I pout and bat my eyelashes. "Fine Evans let's go before I change my mind" I stand up and whisper "Yes!" He grabs his coat and fur gloves. He hands me a spare coat and mittens. "Put this on or you'll get cold." I put on the coat and mittens and follow him back out the gates, and back into the car.

When we get to the town I can see his eyes light up. There's a big Christmas tree in almost every storefront window. There are elf hats and sleigh bells everywhere. We walk around the town while the snow falls on our heads. I place my arm around Draco's. He pulls towards the outdoor ice skating rink. "What's this?" He asks. "Oh, this is called ice skating. You put on a special pair of shoes and it basically lets you glide on the ice, it's not easy though." He scoffs "Oh how hard can it be?" I give him a look. "You would hate it." he laughs. "Let's go try it then if you think it's easy." He looks at me and raises his chin "Yeah. Let's!"

We make our way to the rink. On the way there he stops. "Wait, How do you know all this?" I smile and say "Well I think muggles are fascinating. My mom was muggle-born and I always liked their traditions. Whenever I'm at the Weasleys by myself I come here a lot." he stays quiet.

We continue walking towards the rink. I grab a pair of shoes from the rack. "Draco what's your shoe size?" he gets awkward, "I- uh, I don't know people usually make shoes for me." I look at him and he seems a little embarrassed. "Okay well here" I grab a pair of shoes that are bigger than my hand. "Try these." his eyes widen. "Why do they have a piece of metal at the bottom??" I laugh. "That's how you skate Draco." He sits on the bench next to me and slips the shoes on "They fit?" I ask and he nods "They feel bloody uncomfortable though." I couldn't help but laugh again.

He gets up fast and falls back into the bench. "Be careful, I told you it's not easy." He looks at the children skating and groans. "Children can skate but I cant? What is this??" he gets frustrated. I put my shoes on and stand up perfectly. He looks amazed. "How-" he says but I interrupt. "You just need practice." I give him a nice smile and hold out my hand. He's hesitant but he grabs it and tries to stand, he almost falls but he grabs my other hand and I pull him back up. I can see him focusing on his feet so hard.

I gently pull him towards the ice. "You ready?" he nods while his hand is in mine. I slowly move towards the ice, he slips but I hold him up. I stand in front of him, he's still focused on his feet. "Don't focus on your feet, trust me it makes it harder." He looks me in my eyes.

"Just bring your foot back and forth, almost like your scraping the ice, not too rough though, smoothly. Like this..." I show him how my feet are moving. "Ohh alright that's easy enough," he tells me.
