The few days that I and Harry had spent together went by like a blur, as a matter of fact, the entire holiday break felt like one big fever dream. Hermione and Ron had gotten back today. Harry and I decided to tell them about everything, just to clear things up.

During breakfast in the great hall, Hermione sat next to Ron and I sat next to Harry. Ron had his face stuffed with food "Go on, what were you two going to tell us..." he said in between bites. Hermione looked at him with a smug face which turned into a smile. "Yes, what is it?" she said.

I sit up in my seat and look at Harry, he gives me a look and tilts his head towards him, kind of like a go-ahead signal. I freeze. "Well um okay...basically..." I look over to Ron. He seems unfazed and definitely unprepared. "I and Harry are related, by blood...our moms were sisters" Ron drops his food on his plate, "Oh no..." I whisper.

"How long Bella??" I raise a brow, "How long what Ron?" He squints his eyes, I know he's mad. "How long have you known and not tell me??" I hold my hands and place them on my lap as I look down at them "For years..." He sits up and he stopped eating..." four years??" I can feel my mouth get dry...

"No...I've known for years...." he stands up and says "And you never thought to tell you're best friend that you're related to Harry Potter. Who so happens to be my other best friend?" he scoffs and I don't know what to say.

"Does mom and dad know?" I nod. he looks away and walks off. Hermione goes after him. "Well..." Harry says to me. I felt horrible. "You know how Ron gets..." I tell Harry, he sighs "Yes...I know. What are you going to do?" he asks me.

"He'll be over it, I'm obviously going to apologize, which he won't accept at first, and then in a week or so he's going to be completely fine," I say brushing it off. Harry didn't seem too sure though, "I mean, this is pretty big Isabella...I don't think Ron is just going to forget about it..." I disagree "Ron will be fine."

The next few days at Hogwarts were pretty fast, we had lots of work to do in Defense Against the Dark Arts since Professor Snape was always substituting for Professor Lupin. He was always gone so with Snape being the new professor we were loaded with work.
Hermione couldn't stand it.

{2 days later, in dorm}
She complains, "He's not even following the standard lesson! It's just ridiculous! I mean...Professor Snape doesn't even teach Defense Against the Dark Arts...he teaches Potions!" She says as she flips from page to page in our lesson book.

"Go tell Professor Dumbledore." I say to her...."I mean, let him know you're concerned, I agree this is a little much." She tears her head away from the book and furrows her brows "A little??" I quietly chuckle. She cracks a smile and looks down at her book.

"Any luck with Ron yet?" she asks...I tilt my head and the pitch in my voice raises, "Noo....but I'm not worried he'll be over it." I say with a smile. She nods..."Okay...sure." as she's focusing on a sentence. She doesn't sound too confident.

"You don't think so?" She looks up from her book at me and sighs, she hesitates to say anything. "I- it's just this was a pretty big secret Isabella...and Ron seemed pretty mad when I talked with him last. He couldn't stop talking about it."

My confidence begins to drown and my concern raises. "I apologized to him yesterday in class! I don't know what else he wants me to do." I shrug my shoulders and keep them raised, I feel tense. Hermione presses her lips together still maintaining a serious face.
