Chapter 2 - Family Bonds

After that night at Godric's Hollow, the Headmaster from Hogwarts, Professor Dumbledore, sent Harry to go and live with our aunt Petunia, uncle Vernon, and cousin Dudley.

They were muggles, and they hated magic.

Dumbledore was close to the Potters and he could be trusted. Harry was raised never knowing who he really was.

Everyone who raised him mistreated him. On Harry's 11th birthday July 31st, he found out he was a wizard.

On September 1st he would be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a first-year student.

While Harry had everything planned out for him, I didn't. After Dumbledore sent Harry with his family I had nowhere to go, no family or even friends of the family.

The only person who was close to my mother was Sirius Black.

The headmaster from Hogwarts, professor Dumbledore was close to my family. He wanted to keep me a secret.

He wanted me hid away from the world for my safety and the only person who could protect me at the time was Sirius Black.

Sirius was a close friend of my mom and the Potters.

Sirius and my mom used to be together when they were younger. They were best friends. He was in love with my mom. Sirius knew Voldemort was my father.

As soon as my mom found out she was pregnant she went straight to Sirius first and then she went to her sister Lily. Sirius reassured her everything was going to be okay.

Sirius Black is Harry's and I's Godfather but Harry doesn't know this. I lived with Sirius for about a year, I don't t really remember much...he was always so nice to me but his house-elf...Kreacher always did the parenting work.

Sirius would really take care of me though. He taught me my first word, "Sunny".

Sirius was a marauder. Dumbledore never really told me much about the Marauders, just that they were great and somewhat trouble makers.

He never told me who "they" were though, I only know Sirius was one, and so was James, but Professor Dumbledore had also told me about another, I can never remember his name.

Sirius was sent to Azkaban prison in 1982 for killing muggles. He also killed 13 wizards and witches with one spell.

I never believed Sirius did that. I believe he was falsely accused even though they had "witnesses". Sirius would never do something like that.

After Sirius was sent to Azkaban Dumbledore didn't know where to put me to be safe so he was going to put me up for adoption in the muggle world but to do that he had to have a trial with the Ministry of Magic so they can decide.

This means that the Ministry had to know I was Voldemort's daughter or else there was no good enough reason to send me into the muggle world.

in 1982 August 24th (my birthday) a hearing was set for me.

A man named "Robbert" was supposed to be the caseworker for my hearing but he couldn't show up that day so at the last minute they told Arthur Weasley to work my case.

Arthur Weasley attended Hogwarts so he knew Dumbledore. Arthur also worked in muggle studies so my case was fit for him.

The trial went on for about 2-3 hours. Dumbledore was doing everything he can to not tell them who my father was but still try to win the case.

As soon as Dumbledore was about to give up and tell them, Mr. Weasley talked to Dumbledore he said "If you want me to help I need to know why you want her to go into the muggle world."

The Ministry knew who my mom was, they knew Harry was my cousin. This made it almost impossible for them to let me go to the muggle world.

Dumbledore replied, "I'm going to tell you something Mr. Weasley but don't tell a soul."

Mr. Weasley promised he wouldnt say a thing so Dumbledore told him who my father was. Mr. Weasley gasped.

After thinking about it Mr. Weasley knew I was innocent, I was only 2 years old. "I can take her in,"

Mr. Weasley told Dumbledore. professor dumbledore was shocked. Mr. Weasley and Dumbledore decided to lose the case on purpose.

The ministry never knew I was Voldemorts, daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Weasley talked with Dumbledore. They are very loving people so they took me in and adopted me but I kept my last name.

If the Ministry of Magic knew who my father was then I would be banished from the Wizarding world out of fear or something worse.

Dumbledore was trying to keep me safe but if the Ministry knew who I was then my whole life I would be watched.

The Weasley family is a pretty big family on its own already. There is Molly and Arthur Weasley, or Mrs. and Mr. Weasley, then Bill, Charlie, Percy, twins Fred and George, Ron and then Ginny.

Only Mr. and Mrs. Weasley know who my father is, they thought it was best not to mention it to their kids until I was old enough to decide to tell them.

When I went to live with them precautions were taken since I was Voldemort's daughter.

I was not allowed to use any magic or even go to Hogwarts to learn magic until I was old enough to control my power as Dumbledore said.

Although I wasn't able to practice the art I was able to witness it. I fell in love with magic, it's beautiful and still amazes me every time I see such a thing.

Everyone is used to it by now except me, I appreciate it so much I'm not sure everyone even recognizes the wonders of it.

Being Voldemort's daughter does come with some perks if I'm honest. While the Weasleys were home for the summer I would visit Dumbledore and he would help me enhance my natural-born skills.

For instance...I'm able to speak to snakes...people call it parseltongue. Apparently, not everyone can talk to snakes and for some reason, I find that odd.

I have powers witches and wizards dream of, well so says Dumbledore. He also says I'm not like my father.

My powers are channeled differently than his, mines are channeled through the kindness and love out of my heart...basically my good, while Voldemort's are channeled through his bad and that makes us very different.

I like to think that in the end good always wins over evil one way or another.

Dumbledore says I get a lot of these qualities from my mom. He describes her as pure-hearted.

She believed that magic should be available to anyone who deserves it and I agree, unlike Voldemort, he believes that only Pureblood witches and wizards should be allowed to do magic, kind of ironic since he's a half-blood himself.

Voldemort has a lot of opinions and a lot of people to support him and those opinions.

There are 4 different houses at Hogwarts to get sorted into. Every house is unique and different in their own way and is based and named on the founders of Hogwarts, there were 2 witches and 2 wizards who founded it.

First, we have Helga Hufflepuff, then Rowena Ravenclaw, Godric Gryffindor, and lastly, Salazar Slytherin. Legend has it all of the 3 founders complied except one.

Salazar Slytherin had a different way to go about things.

Voldemort is the heir of Salazar Slytherin which also makes me the heir of him too. This is how I speak parseltongue and have powers only one can imagine.
