I woke up to the sound of silence. It was morning and I was more than well-rested. I walk downstairs and find Draco in the kitchen. "Morning," he tells me in a raspy voice. His hair is messy and he's wearing his pajamas with one black and one white sock. He's rummaging through the fridge.

"Morning Draco. What are you looking for?" he replies, "Food, I let my chef have the morning off." "Well, that's nice of you," I tell him as he pulls out a green apple. "An apple...for breakfast?" He looks at me, bites into the apple, and nods his head. "You do have food right." he rolls his eyes, "barley, go on take a look inside the refrigerator" I walk over and look inside, and it's stuffed full with food. I turn back around to look at him.

"Your fridge has everything you can imagine...what are you talking about?" he looks at the ground. "I don't know how to cook," he mumbles. "Well let's go back to the muggle town and eat at a diner, we can pick up some more things for Christmas there." He nods "Okay, ill go get dressed." he leaves the half-eaten apple on the counter and walks back up to his room, while I head back to mines.

About 10 minutes later he comes banging on my door. "Evans! I'm finished let's go," I open the door slightly. "I need about 20 more minutes Draco." He examines me "You look normal let's go." he says with a forced smile. "10 minutes." he sighs and agrees. "Bring a coat and gloves!" I smile as I close the door. "Who are you, my mother?" I can hear him chuckle.

About 15 minutes later I was done getting ready. I walk down the stairs, with my coat and gloves. We walk out of the Manor and back into the muggle town. I think Draco really likes it here.

We stop at a small diner, Draco sits down in the seat in front of me. In the corner of the room, I see someone familiar. She turns around and it's Hermione! She's with who seems to be her mom. She smiles at me but then looked over to Draco, I got nervous. She widens her eyes slightly while still keeping a smile, but it turned into more of an awkward smile. Draco grabs a menu and whispers to me. "What in the bloody hell is this?" I couldn't help but laugh. I look back at Hermione and she's pointing at Draco giving me a thumbs up, I snort.

I look over at Draco and he looks a little confused. "Just get the eggs and bacon," I tell him. "You order for me," he says with a very serious face. "Um..okay sure." The waitress comes along and stands in front of us with her notepad. She seemed a little older than us. "What would you two like today." She says in a dry voice. "Just two bacon and egg meals please, one cappuccino, and one orange juice" She nods and goes back to the kitchen.

Draco raises a brow at me. "Cappuccino?" he snorts. "Fancy coffee," I tell him. "Ohhh, muggles." He laughs. I can see Hermione look back. I politely smile. She rolls her eyes at Draco but smiles back at me. "Draco!" I whisper. he whispers back "What?" I look over at Hermione and she turned back around. "Hermione is here!" His eyes widen. "Oh..." he mouths "Where?" I look over to the corner. He looks back subtly. His eyes grow big again but then he shrugs.

A different waitress comes back out with our food, she was about the same age as the other one. "Here you are" she smiles wide at Draco. He smiles back. I laugh a little too loud and she gives me a cold stare. Draco smiles at me and rubs his neck. She walks to the back and we eat our food. I roll my eyes and mumble in a tiny voice "muggles" he lightly chuckles.

I see Draco look down at his food and poke the egg with his fork like a child. I give him a blank stare. "Go on...it doesn't bite." He gives me a mug while he picks up a strip of bacon. He eats it and his eyebrows raise. "Hm..." he continues eating...and eating. "Can I try your coffee?" I slide the mug over to him. He takes a sip and he furrows his brows, "This is delicious! Ha, who knew" I laugh, its nice to see him happy. Hermione leaves with her family and not long after Draco pays for our food, and we leave too.
