After I told Draco, things were a little different, but not much. I think that he is still processing what happened. I spent the rest of the weekend and the beginning of the week at Malfoy Manor. We went into the muggle town a few more times but we usually spent the day inside.

We would always enter that expensive store Draco likes, and every time I would admire those emerald earrings. I felt drawn to them, they sparkled so much. I couldn't resist. One day we went back and the earrings were gone, sadly I guess someone had purchased them already. At least I didn't have to torture myself anymore by looking at them knowing they were too expensive for me.

Christmas was already in 2 days. It's Wednesday now, and it's been a little over a week since I arrived at Malfoy Manor. I woke up very tired, I'm starting to have those dreams again. It happened for the first time in a while 2 days ago. I haven't been sleeping as much and Draco noticed. I walked down the stairs this morning looking like a mess. Draco was already eating breakfast, "You look awful." he tells me. "Thanks," I reply. He smirks.

"Have you been sleeping?" I sit in the seat next to him at the table. The table had about 15 seats, it was gigantic. I yawn wide, "Yeah of course I have been sleeping." He eyes me but doesn't say anything. His fork in one hand and his other hand laid flat on the table. "What?" I ask him as I sip my orange juice.

"Are you're nightmares coming back Evans?" I almost choke on my juice. I look at him as I place my glass down. "You don't look very well rested either Malfoy." he looks back down to his food. "I'm never well-rested," I snort. He smiles softly. "Well, since you asked...yes they are coming back but-" He interrupts. "I was thinking...since you're his you know..." I roll my eyes, but he continues talking.

"...And you have his powers then what if these dreams are a sign." I stop to think. "A sign for what?" he shrugs his shoulders "I don't know, you never even told me the dream," he tells me. "Well if you must know..." I tell him about the dream, the smoke, the dog, the hooded person, all of it. When I'm done he looks like he's thinking hard. "I don't know, I give up." I laugh a little.

We spent the whole day indoors again. We mostly read, his parents had a big library filled with all kinds of things. It even had school books, I helped Draco study sometimes. He is really smart but he doubts himself a lot. He teaches me more than I teach him, but he doesn't even realize it.

Draco kept disappearing off to somewhere today. I'm not sure where. Every time I asked he ignored me, or just walked away. I didn't mind it much thought, I just hope he's okay.

I woke up on Christmas eve, and It was a little weird not being home for Christmas but I kind of liked it. I hurry downstairs to see Draco eating breakfast. I quickly sit down next to him. "Draco!" he looks at me with a straight face. "It's Christmas Eve!" he forces a smile.

I look over to the tree and a small house elf is dusting the wall behind it. Surprisingly he's the first house elf I seen in the manor. "Draco, I didn't know you had house-elves" he looks over to the elf to see him cleaning. "Oh that's the new one we got, we rid of our old one last year" I half-smile, feeling awkward "You mean he di-" Draco sits up "No...no no he didn't die...Potter set him free one could say." I smile, "That's good," Draco looks up at me. "Well, house elf's shouldn't be treated so inhuman." I scoff. Draco doesn't speak

"What is wrong with you this morning, You're in such a grinch mood." He doesn't say anything. "I'm just not in the mood," he tells me. I press my lips together and nod. "Okay well..." I stand up "I should go and get ready for the day." He looks up at me and looks back down. I walk away, back to my room.

Since today was Christmas Eve, I had to cheer up Malfoy. I put on a red dress, and let my hair down loose. I put on black flats and wore the necklace my mother gave me. Draco always liked that necklace on me.
