"Have you seen Sharon?" Brooke asked as she stopped me in my tracks.
"He was outside talking to some drag Queen friends."
"Oh right, I'll leave him for a bit."
"Have you seen Gabe?"
"I don't even know who he is."
"Right, I'm going to keep looking." I pushed past Brooke and made my way into the kitchen.
"So, what's he like?"
"Huh?" I looked up at Katya who was stood smiling at me. "I'm sorry, what?"
"Sharon said you were taken, so what's he like?"
"Oh, he's decent."
"That's all you could come up with?" Katya laughed.
"Yeah well I'm kinda looking for someone."
"I'll leave you to it." Katya disappeared but Gabe appeared closely followed by Sharon and then Trixie. "I've been looking for you." I said to Gabe.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"I told you this isn't a good idea." Sharon muttered.
"Yeah, but like you I don't listen."
"You're going to make a fool of yourself." Trixie said.
"I don't even know who you are." Gabe said as he laughed at Trixie.
"Just piss off Gabe, I tried being nice and telling you but you're annoying me now."
"What the fuck is going on?" I asked. Sharon walked over to me and put her arm around my waist. "You can't ask Justin out because he's taken by me, happy now?"
"You shouldn't of done that." I muttered.
"What?" Gabe asked.
"I'm sick of you drooling all over Justin." Sharon muttered, "So keep your hands off my boyfriend."
"What?!" I looked over at Brooke. "You fucking prick Aaron Coady."
"Ohhh Honeyyyyy." Trixie said.
"Brooke wait!" Sharon called after her before disappearing into the crowd.
"Well, this party was more fun than I expected." Trixie laughed.
"I'm sorry Justin." Gabe muttered before heading out to the garden.
"Are you okay? Trixie asked me.
"Yeah, do you think I should go after them?"
"Maybe give them a little while."
"Brooke's going to murder me."
"At least you'll die knowing you were dating your crush."
"How'd you know she was my crush?"
"Sharon might have mentioned it."
"I'm going to go find her."
I weaved through various people and out the front door where I found Sharon sat with her head in her hands. "I'm so sorry Sharon."
"I'm a shit person."
"No, you're not, she was going to find out sometime."
"I didn't expect it to be like this."
"It wasn't ideal, but she'll come around."
"I don't think she will."
"What happened to your hand?"
"Nothing."
"Stop lying."
"I punched the wall."
"Why would you do that?"
"Because I'm shit."
"Come on, let's go." I stood up and held out my hand. Sharon looked at it before taking it and walking with me back to her place.

"You're back early, how was the party?" Joan asked as soon as we stepped into the house. Sharon sighed, dropped my hand, and headed upstairs. I hung my jacket on the bannister then made my way into the living room where Joan was sat. "What's up with her?"
"Brooke found out."
"I'm guessing it wasn't the perfect reaction."
"Not really, she called her a bunch of names and stormed off."
"She'll come around."
"That's what I said but to be honest, I really don't think she will."
"It's that bad?" I just nodded.
