"Will you come over after school today?" I asked as I turned in the seat to look at Aaron.
"I'm not sure that's a good idea."
"Please?"
"I don't know."
"You can stay the night."
"I'll think about it." Aaron sighed as he got out of the car and shut the door. I grabbed my bag and climbed out myself. I slipped my hand into Aaron's and we headed into school. We headed over to Aaron's locker where Brooke was stood against her own locker with a group of her friends. "Ew, I can't believe you let him date you brother." Britney said.
"I didn't, he's just a low life who I trusted, and thought was my best friend." Aaron slammed his locker shut, "Brooke, can't we just talk about this?"
"Did you hear that?" Brooke asked causing the other girls to laugh before they all walked off. "I'm sorry." I muttered.
"Maybe I won't come over tonight."
"My mom keeps asking me to invite you for dinner."
"Yeah well I don't think Brooke would appreciate it."
"Who cares what she thinks?"
"Me, she is my best friend."
"I'm sorry." We came to a stopped and I pulled Aaron into a hug.
"I need to go."
"What?" Aaron pushed me away. "I'm sick of this, one day you like me and the next all you do is push me away."
"I've got a lot on my mind."
"And that seems to never be me, so you know what just leave me alone."
"Justin wait, I'm-"
"I don't want to hear your excuses." I said as I turned on my heel and headed into my lesson.
I sat down in my seat and let out a sigh. "What's up?" I turned to look at Gabe.
"It's complicated."
"Aaron?"
"Mhm."
"I was planning on asking you out."
"You were?"
"I told Aaron and he told me to go for it but when I told him I was finally going to he told me you were seeing someone."
"I'm sorry."
"Oh well."
"Maybe we could go out sometime? Tonight?"
"Won't Aaron mind?"
"Yeah well like I said, it's complicated."
"Alright, I'll see you tonight."
"Justin, Gabe, stop talking please."
"Sorry Miss Allen." Miss Allen stood up and started droning on about a book. I rested my head on my hand and zoned out for the rest of the lesson.

The bell rang and I made my way to the cafeteria. I spotted Aaron straight away. He looked at me and gave a weak smile. I turned away and headed over to where Joel was sat.
"Mind if I sit here?"
"Go for it."
"Thanks." I sat down in the vacant seat.
"I've got some apologising to do."
"You do?"
"I'm sorry for ditching you at that party."
"It's fine."
"No it was a shitty thing to do, I didn't give you time to explain, I really do like you."
"Oh um well."
"I know you're with Aaron, and he's a lucky guy, but I just felt like I needed to apologise."
"Like I said it's fine."
Someone tapped me on the shoulder, and I looked up to find Aaron. "You mind if I steal him?"
"It's fine." I got up out of my seat and followed Aaron out into the almost empty corridor.
"What do you want?" I asked as I crossed my arms.
"I'm sorry about earlier, I do care about you, I really do it's just a whole mess."
"I'm sorry for going off on one earlier."
"I deserved it."
"Still, I'm sorry."
"Am I forgiven?"
"Maybe."
"I can make it up to you tonight?"
"Tempting, but I have other plans."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, I'm going out with Gabe."
"For real?"
"For real."
"Guess I'll find something else to do."
"He better not be fit." I smirked as Aaron pushed me.
"Shut up."
"I best get back to Joel."
"Yeah." Aaron kissed me before I pulled away and headed back into the cafeteria.

"Are you sure Aaron won't beat me up for this?"
"No, he knows."
"He seemed really annoyed at the party last week, I was so embarrassed."
"I'm sorry, but like I said he knows."
"Good, he's kinda scary."
"He's really not."
"So, what do you wanna do?"
"We could go to the movies?"
"Alright." Gabe took my hand and we made our way to the movie theatre.
