I normally don't put AN's at the beginning of a story, but this is an exception.
Happy Birthday rushersrcool! Have an update! *laughs*DISCLAIMER: Some parts of this chapter get kinda violent... It's not that bad, but I still feel that I should at least warn you guys. If you watch PG-13 movies, you should be able to handle it. (I don't know, if anything disturbs you, just skip a few paragraphs until it's over and you should be fine.)
There will be a longer AN at the end, so be sure to read it ^w^
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Piko and I have been dating for five months and 21 days now, but only in secret. After I had told him what Thadelia had told me, we both knew what she had meant.
From the start, I knew that the HC was a one-way-in-no-way-out deal. I was beyond the point of caring, though, and I never would have imagined that I would ever want to get out. However, I also never imagined that I would have the best boyfriend (and friend) that anyone in the world could ever ask for. I always thought that I would be unwanted by everyone, so coming to the Health Center didn't seem that bad at the time.
Piko changed that, though. I headed to my room after my last class of the day, where Piko and I had agreed to meet earlier. We both wanted out of the HC, so we could go out and explore the world, enjoy ourselves, try to lead as "normal" a life as the world would allow us to.
I was finishing up my math homework as Piko arrived. I smiled and looked up at him, rising to hug him before we both sat down.
"Alright, where do we want to start?" Piko asked. I paused for a while, considering our options.
"The HC has a heavy and well-operated security system. I think that the closest thing to a 'hole' in their wall of defense is when a new student arrives. This is probably one of the only times that they open their doors, so we need to use it to our advantage." I took a breath to continue, but Piko stopped me.
"Then are we supposed to just wait until a new student arrives? Who knows how long that will take. The last time we got a new student was..." Piko trailed off, staring at the ceiling while counting numbers off on his fingers.
"About a month and a half ago. I know. Don't worry, I'm not bargaining on the slim chance of a new student coming anytime soon, so we're going to have to make our own." I smiled a little, the mischief making me giddy.
"Make our...? What are you talking about?" Piko tilted his head to the side a little, making an adorable, yet confused, face. For a moment I forgot to answer his question, just stared at his face, his features, the adorable expression, the way he tilted his head just so... I smiled to myself slightly, before Piko interrupted my thoughts.
"_____...? Why are you staring at me?" He blushed a tiny bit, but smiled as I sputtered, scrambling for an excuse, "Can't take your eyes off me, can you?" He smirked, and gave me a gentle shove. I laughed, blushing.
"Do you want me to answer your question or not?" He nodded, and I resumed my speech on what I had in mind, "Like I said, we can't bet on the off chance of a new student anytime soon, so we'll have to 'create' our own.
"We need a way to get into the system. You should be able to get in and create a false 'new student' alarm. This will create a commotion while they try to figure out why the alarm has gone off. We can use this as a cover to get ourselves out. We won't be able to use the main entrance, since that's where new students come through."
I paused for a moment, considering our options, "Hmmm... Maybe, while you're in the system, you can figure out the password to the roof and get out that way... No, they would notice the elevator movement... Unless we do it while teachers and staff are commonly active... But we would need rope to get off that way... I'm not sure where..." Piko cleared his throat gently, snapping my out of my thoughts. I quickly realized I had been rambling off to myself, something I commonly do.
