A/N this is a really popular method thats a little difficult (in my opinion) to start with, like its a method that works after youve done shifting for some time, so another method may be easier

The raven method (begin when your half asleep!)-

1) lay on your back in a star fish position with no part of your body touching

2)Listen to shifting subluminals very loudly (this is optional, but you will have better results if you do listen to them. Just search up {name of were your shifting} subliminals

3)Next, count from 1-100. As you count, imagine your DR; certain "scences" you want to happen, the way it looks, smells, temperature (if your not listening to subluminals, as you count say affirmations in your head, after every 5 numbers, like "I will shift" or "I'm shifting now")

4)After completing these steps, fall asleep and you should wake up in your DR

!Make sure to stay awake until after you've shifted. Its hard but necessary. By this I mean dont fall asleep until you feel symptoms (and/or feel that youve shifted) Also, if you don't want to listen to subliminals, you can listen to regular music that you really like. But, make sure its in a loop or playlist, and played loudly. Again, its best to have subliminals or music because it may help the process, and drowns out un-necessary noise! But if you cant listen/find it difficult to dont worry u dont need to !
