Chapter 50

"I told you Nat, you can stay in your Lola if you want." my Mom said while we are on our way back to Manila. Maybe she noticed how off I am. Well who wouldn't be off, nagka-after party pa for us and it was already 4 am when I fell asleep. Guess what, it's just 6 in the morning and we are travelling back to Manila just to pack are things for another travel.

Kumain muna kami sa isang restaurant for our breakfast before continuing our ride.

"Let's take him with us. One week or two weeks lang naman and he already agreed." huli kong narinig bago ako nakatulog.

"You can still sleep for atleast three hours Nat. We'll be back two hours before our flight to fetch you." Dad said and kissed me on my forehead before letting me go inside my room.

Ibinaba ko ang hawak kong phone sa side table and ready to dive and sleep straight when I noticed a small box on the center of my bed.

Felip's gift!

I immediately pulled the ribbon and opened the box, there is a silver semicolon ring on it. Nahagip nang mata ko ang maliit na note sa gilid.

It was Felip's penmanship.

Semicolon means continue. Our story paused but it never stopped. Now, I am ready for its continuation. As long as I am alive, I will never stop loving you.

Ikaw lang, hanggang sa huli.

Ngiting-ngiti akong natulog. Nagising na lang ako nang may pumasok sa kwarto ko, it was Yaya Dhelz packing my luggage.

It's just eleven in the morning but I already decided to get up and prepare myself for a long travel. It took me an hour before I finished preparing. Nagsuot na ako ng hoodie at jeans matching with my boots. I am ready to go though I know that I still have an hour idle time.

"Saan nga kayo papunta?" Yaya Dhelz asked as she's busy cooking my food. I am on the counter and busy biting my apple.

"Iceland." simpleng sagot ko.

"Anong oras ang flight?" tanong niya as she turned her back to see me.

"Two o'clock-"

"Maaga pa. Excited?" pang-aasar niya. Well yeah, it would be my first time going to Iceland. I have been in a lot if countries but Iceland was never our destination kasi nga they are just going outside the country for business and Iceland wasn't actually a good target market since konti lang ang resident doon na pasok sa business na meron kami.

Nagkaroon lang ng opportunity sa kanila that's why they immediately grabbed it. New business to open, I guess.

"Ingat po kayo Ma'am, Sir!" hiyaw ng driver ni Daddy.

I was busy daydreaming about the place when I saw a familiar built. It was Felip wearing an oversized shirt and a jeans. He's also wearing a boots.

"Tito, tita!" bati niya sa parents ko. Mom also kissed him on his cheeks.

I know that they are close but I didn't know that this how close they are.

I was a little bit shocked though. Who wouldn't be? No one notified me that he's coming with us!

"It will took us four days to settle the business so we have thought of bringing Ken with us para may kasama ka. You can stroll and do adventures, magkita na lang tayo sa Diamond Circle." Dad said and smiled at me before pulling my mother.

"What's with the face?" he asked nang makasakay kami sa eroplano. As usual magkatabi kaming dalawa.

"I am just curious why you are here." I said on a serious tone but he didn't answer until the airplane takeoff.

"You could have told me earlier that you don't want me with you. Napalingon ako sa kanya. He's also looking at me.

"No! It's not like that. What I mean is what about your work? I'm sure you have a lot in your schedule and you are here with me." My classes would start on January 14th. We'll be staying here until 12 so that was exactly two weeks.

"I have a lot to do kaso hindi na ako nakatanggi kay Tita-"

"You should have told me!" I hissed.

"I also wanted to be with you." he said. Napalingon ako sa bintana para umiwas. I don't want him to see me smiling like an idiot here.

That was a long ride. Wala akong ginawa sa eroplano kun'di ang matulog, kumain, manood ng movies at makipagkulitan kay Felip.

When the pilot made an announcement before landing, I immediately wore my sweater and beanie.

"Welcome to Reykjavik, Iceland!" Mom said and opened her arms to embrace the cold breeze.

It was already 3 am so we decided to check in on a five star hotel first.

"We are going tomorrow early in the morning. I have already booked you a rental car. Goodnight!" Dad said before handling the car keys and opening the door of their suite.

"They are probably tired." bulong ko at saka binuksan ang katabing suite na para sa aming dalawa ni Felip.

"My Dad trust you that much for letting us sleep in one room." I said and dive on the bed to get some sleep.

It was already 11 am when I woke up. I felt the warmth of Felip's embrace, perfect for this cold weather. I stared for his face before deciding to wake him up.

"Felip!" bulong ko sa kanya. Tamad na tamad niyang iminulat ang kanyang mata at tumingin sa akin. I didn't want to wake him up and stay in the bed like this but we have so many things to do right now and we couldn't missed it!

"Come on, aren't you excited?" I asked as I am busy pulling Felip towards the restaurant to eat our brunch.

"I am." tamad niyang sagot at nagpatianod sa hila ko.

"When do you want to go first?" I asked as I was busy browsing on my phone.

I have the itinerary with me. I wonder  why Felip joined us when he's like this.

We checked out at ipinakuha namin ang gamit naming dalawa and put in on the car. It was actually a car wherein you can sleep and eat as well. So this is road trip.

We are walking on the parking lot to finally start driving when Felip interwined our fingers. Napalingon ako sa kanya and was about to pull my hand away when he tightened the grip more.

"I came here not because of the place but because of you."
