Chapter 17: Urgh, Where are you, Sleep? _________________________________
After the Hosu Incident, all four teenagers were taken to the Hosu General Hospital, where their wounds were taken care of. As of now, the three boys were sat on their hospital bed talking about the incident, while the girl layed on her bed pretending to be sleeping, pretending all her problems didn't exist.
The boys stopped talking, as the door slid open. (Y/n) quickly glanced, meeting both the pro hero Gran Torino and Manual who stood by the door. "Oh, are you wounded kids awake?" Gran Torino said walking in.
(Y/n) pulled the covers over her head, mumbling a small "No", mentally tired from her quirk and life. Gran Torino walked towards Midoriya, stating how many complaints he got because of the boy, but before he could go on he said they had a visitor.
(Y/n) peeked outside her blanket, hoping that the visitor wasn't Fat Gum, because she knew how much trouble she was in. A man in a black suit walked in, he had the head of a beagle, which just made (Y/n)'s curiosity strike.
Deep inside she knew he was an ordinary man, but he reminded her so much of egyptian gods, she wondered: If he was a god, what type of god would he be? Justice perhaps? or... Suddenly, she noticed her mind was drifting away from the moment, she brought her self back listening to the Chief's words.
That was her drawback, in fact it was a pretty new one. Before, when she used her power, she would overthink things, and overcharge her brain with useless and useful information. When night came, with sleep her brain could rest from the world and itself.
Now, without sleep her brain would be thinking 24/7. It's surprising to think, that she hasn't gone insane yet. Or maybe she has. Bit by bit, battle by battle, she notices how she grows more and more tired.
Unable to rest because of a certain danger that couldn't leave her subconscious. Couldn't danger go on a vacation with her problems?
She sighed deeply, All Might had All for One. Endeavor had All Might. Was her biggest rival herself? "Wait a minute," Todoroki's sudden outburst brought (Y/n) out of her thoughts. "If Iida hadn't done anything, Native would've been killed." He took a step "If Midoriya hadn't come, the two of them would've been killed".
"No one realized that the hero killer had appeared. Are you saying we should've followed the rules and watched people get killed?" Midoriya tried to stop him, but the Chief spoke questioning Todoroki.
"Are you saying that as long as it turns out all right, it's okay to bend the rules?" (Y/n) shifted into a sitting position, catching everybody's attention. She sighed, eye bags visible under her eyes, she looked into the man's eyes.
