I´m so in love with these kinds of preferences, so here is another one! :)

Luke: Eighteen years ago, you were born with that same name around your wrist. The beautiful cursive letters circling around your arm in such a majestic way, you weren’t sure if it was real or if it was just some stupid prank being played on you all these years. Here you were, newly graduated and working at your mom’s bakery to get some money, hoping that one day - even by accident - your soulmate walks through those doors and instantly falls in love with you, but you’d given up hope on that idea almost as soon as you thought of it, considering the fact that almost everyone in your hometown was already with their soulmate; everyone besides you. You groaned as you rested your head against the warm glass of the deli cases, not expecting anyone to be coming in today since it was a Saturday and there was a huge county fair going on today; but you were proven wrong as soon as you heard the ding of the door. Your head snapped up and your eyes widened at the sight before you; a gorgeous dirty blonde-haired boy with a tall build and slim body. He had money out, counting it in his hand as he made his way to the counter, smiling once he looked up and saw you. “Hi.” he says politely, but you’re to awestruck by his appearance to say anything. You swallowed hard and slowly made your way over to the cases, ready to get out anything he was willing to ask for; but you stopped as he laughed and waved his hands, signaling you to come closer to him once again. “I was actually wondering if you had any change for a fifty?” he asks, and you slowly nod your head, opening the cash register. You counted out two twenties and a ten, handing him the money as he gave you his fifty. As soon as you were ready to pull your hand back, the boy grabs your right wrist and studies the name embedded in your skin, his eyes getting wide before he looks up at you; the bright blue eyes you’d come to be so attracted to finally staring into yours. “Have you met this Luke person yet?” he asks slowly, and you shake your head, finally finding your voice to talk. “No, but I hope I meet him soon.” you smile softly. The boy nods his head and bites down on his lip, rolling the cuffs of his flannel shirt up, showing you his left wrist with a name sprawled out in cursive across it. You gasp as you cover your mouth, happy tears filling your eyes as you read the letters across his skin. “(Y/N), it’s nice to meet you. I’m Luke.” the boy says, his voice equally as happy.

Ashton: “Come on, you said you would show me when we were old enough!” he pouts playfully as the two of you lay in your hammock in your back yard, admiring the view of the sunset above. You sigh and shake your head, closing your eyes to relax a little more than you already had. “I did say that, but I was about nine then, Ashton. That was almost ten years ago; how could you have really waited that long?” you ask, and he groans louder. He’d been begging you all day to show him the name of your soulmate, the name that had been marked on your body since you were born. You would show him, you wouldn’t mind one bit for him to know who you’d been matched with, but you were scared to do that since it turned out that it was his name written across your wrist; and you had a strong feeling, even though you’d been told all your life that it was nearly impossible for it to happen, that Ashton had someone else’s name on his wrist aside from yours. You didn’t think you could handle that embarrassment, you knew you couldn’t handle the heartbreak, so that’s why you were trying to stall for as long as you could. Maybe he would stop asking to see, and then things could go back to normal without him asking to see your fate. “Just one quick peek at it, please? I’ve been dying to see who’s name is on your wrist, (Y/N)! Please?” he asks, and you groan loudly. You didn’t want to show him, but at the same time you knew that you were probably going to have to anyway. After all, it was his name written into your skin, didn’t he have a right to see it? Your heart started pounding loudly in your ears as you slowly removed your arm from behind your head. Rolling your wrist to the side, you held your arm out in Ashton’s view as you showed him the dark letters that had been marked on you all those years ago. He goes silent for a moment, his jaw flexing as he reads his name. You bit your lip and quickly put your arm back behind your head, trying to act nonchalant about it. Ashton rolls his head to the side and stares at you, his eyes easy and his voice calming as he spoke. “Why didn’t you show me that any earlier, (Y/N)?” he asks. You shrug your shoulders, not looking at him. You couldn’t handle the pain that was going to strike you once you did. “I didn’t think it would’ve mattered, Ash. Besides, don’t you have some Amber on your wrist?” you ask, remembering that he’d even told you for a fact he had someone else’s name written on him. Ashton laughs lightly and shakes his head, wrapping one of his arms across your waist as he rolls on his side to face you. “No, look.” he says, and your eyes instantly dart down to his tanned skin. You gasp lightly as you see your name written in thick dark letters. Your eyes look up and instantly meet with Ashton’s, a feeling of relief and happiness coursing through you. “Hey there, soulmate.” Ashton whispers.
