My lids felt so heavy. It felt like they were permanently shut for me not to see again.

Then I heard soft crashes of water.

Fear and frustration silently crept inside my chest.

Ayoko nito. I don't want to be here.

I opened my eyes and saw crashes and waves of water. I stayed like that for how long I stayed conscious until...

"She's here!"

But I thought I could, not until my own eyes gave up on me.

I was greeted with the dark and dim surrounding.

I almost jerked in shock when someone touched my neck and opened my eyes with his fingers. Like he really needed it just to get close to me.

Then another person came.

That person stood with the same body suit but without the full face mask. He looked at me with his almost illuminating green eyes, feeling like he's about to penetrate the ends of my soul just to figure out a species like me.

"What's your name?"

Sa kabila ng iba't ibang pag-iinspiksyon na ginawa ng isang lalaki sa akin at sa lakas ng hampas ng alon sa paligid, his voice was still the loudest and the most disturbing thing my fading consciousness could register.

"I said, what's your name?" He almost growled out in annoyance. But whatever the danger his voice could have made me feel, mas nabagabag ako sa palaisipang...

His impatience seems to draw out the answer to his question for me.

I slowly shook my head.

And almost at the same time, the guy who was inspecting me looked at him. "All clear, Sir."

In my almost fading consciousness I was almost fazed at the sudden smirk that plastered in his almost stoic face. "Case number?"

"1129, Sir."

With all the strength I could muster, I lifted up my hand and saw numbers in black ink imprinted on my wrist.

The smirk still lingering on his face. And as if that was the last piece I needed to start thinking, I realized something.

I don't remember anything.

"1129," I saw his green, illuminating eyes looking at me once again and I felt shivers run down my spine.

"Welcome to Brechmos. The place for the lost."
