I looked at Grey in silence for a few minutes. So he knew but how? If he knew then surely he would have came over when Charlie left, I thought I was going to die. Truth be told, at one point I thought I was dead.

"You know what?" I asked him pointedly, scrunching my nose as my eyes narrowed.

"I seen Charlie leaving the house Emily." He snapped out causing me to recoil as my heart felt like it was going to burst out my chest.

"Where you watching me?" I accused folding my arms over my chest gently as he scoffed.

"I have a camera on the house, it sends notifications to my phone when it detects motion." He shrugged.

"So you seen Charlie leaving?" He nodded, "I know Charlie was there too, it's not a god damn secret." I told him waving my hands in the air as he took a step towards me.

His eyes were filled with a storm, dark and emotionless. His jaw was set and his body was tense. I closed my eyes for a moment trying to remember how to breathe and not freak out. This was Grey. He would never hurt me, he's not Charlie.

"Why couldn't you tell me?" He asked his head tilted to the side and I could swear for a second, sadness flashed through them.

"I don't know." I shrugged feeling tears rising to my eyes thinking about what happened, "I was scared and Charlie has never-"

"It would have taken two seconds for you to tell me that you were seeing him again." He snapped causing me to freeze. What?

"Pardon?" I managed to voice out in confusion.

"The only thing I can think of is this." I watched as he pushed his fingers through his hair, eyes on fire. "You've been lying to me recently, keeping things quiet. The move here and then you tried to lie about Charlie being at your house, using Kate to cover it up." He accused, "Your seeing him again aren't you? That would explain the lies of you covering your tracks and why I seen him leaving the house." I shook my head at these accusations, I could swear that the reason I left Charlie was for him.

"Grey I don't think.."

"Have you been fucking him in my house?" He seethed out pacing back and forth like a mad man.

I wanted to scream no but maybe this was the way to keep him and everyone else safe. If Charlie comes back to my house, no one will suspect anything. They will think we're in lovers paradise. Only myself and Charlie will really know what happened, well and maybe Kate.

If Charlie comes back asking me for money, I would die before I would let anyone hurt Grey. I wouldn't be another person in his life that constantly takes from him and his success. I could never do that.

If Charlie was going to continue chasing after me then maybe this would keep Grey away, it would keep him safe which is the only place I want him to be right now. Safe.

"Yes." I breathed out feeling my chest stab with pain at the lies, lies that I knew he would believe so stupidly and so easily.

"Did you even spilt up with him at all?" He ground out, his fists clenching.

"No." Another lie.

"What the fuck Emily?" He seethed leaning back against the porch fencing.

He was hurt. I knew Grey well enough to know that but in the same breath it made me almost angry. If this news hurt him then why did he always keep pushing me away? I've never felt good enough for him and he's done nothing to make me see otherwise. How can he possibly be hurt when he's done nothing but make me feel like nothing but another notch on his bedpost?
