Will felt his cheeks burn at El's question, "I'm just wondering j-jeez." he said as he rushed into his room, quickly shutting his door. Will hadn't came out to anyone yet, it felt like it was eating him alive. He felt alone in a way, like no one understood him. Everyone would hate him if he came out, at least that's what he thought.

He decided to go to the mall to take his mind off of it, inviting El as well, since it was her birthday. He said he would pay for something she wanted.

The two left the house after telling their parents, giving them hugs. They rode their Bikes, tires grazing over the concrete.

"So where are you gonna shop at?" Will asked, deciding to make conversation with his sister as they rode their bikes to the mall.

El had no idea where she wanted to shop. She could barely remember the names of the stores. She remembered the one time Max and her went on a shopping spree, she smiled at the thought of the red headed girl. Suddenly she had an idea, "we should go get max. Ask her if she wants to go shopping with us."

Will nodded before they took a turn down Max's road.

"I'll go knock on the door you stay here." El told Will as she made her way up Max's small driveway, onto the porch to knock on her door.

After a few seconds of El waiting the familiar red head opened the door, "Hey El! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be celebrating your birthday? Oh! Happy birthday by the way!"

El felt her cheeks get hot. She didn't know why. She decided to ignore it, "Thanks. Me an Will were gonna go shopping. You wanna go with us?" El asked giving max a smile .

Max's face lit up. She was happy El wanted to hang out with her, "yeah, let me grab my skateboard. I'll be right back."

Eleven responded with a nod, waiting for the girl on her porch, looking over at Will smiling. Will didn't notice her gaze, he was day dreaming.

"Okay let's go!" Max hopped on her skate board, heading down her road towards the mall, the byers following her.

Once the group arrived at the mall max dragged El to JCPennys, leaving Will behind. He didn't mind though. He decided to go to see if Steve was working, maybe talk to him. Come out to him. I know it's a weird first person to come out to. But Steve was also like a big brother to Will.

"Are you one of steve's children?" Robin spoke up, looking down at Will.

"I mean yeah but— I just need to talk to someone." Will hesitated for a minute, "I can trust you right?"

Robin gave him a questioning look before nodding, leading him to the back of the store to talk. "So what's up little guy?"

Will took a deep breath before letting it all out,"Okay so i'm just going to say this all at once so I  face the awkwardness at one time. So basically I'm gay. I've never felt attracted to a girl, you know? I've known since I was 10. I know that sounds young but it's true. And i've had a major crush on the same person. Mike. You probably know him. He just makes me feel a million butterflies when he looks at me or even gives me the slightest smile. He could honestly light up the whole universe with that cute smile. And his laugh is the best sound I have ever heard. Like when he laughs I can just feel my lips form a smile. But the thing is he's dating my sister Eleven— well used to, they just broke up today because they aren't soulmates. But I haven't came out to anyone yet so it has felt like a crushing bolder of gayness on my chest— or like my conscience. I know I should be coming out to like— my best friend or something but, I have a crush on my best friend. And I don't know if my other friends are homophobic. I don't think my mom is homophobic but I was way too scared to tell her. wait- oh my god are you homophobic?! please do not kill me-.

will rambled but got cut off by robin, "Jesus- calm down kid. I'm no where near homophobic. And hey- i'm so happy you told me okay? I think you should give Mike some time. He just got out of a relationship. But i'm sure he likes you."

Will found himself blushing, "you really think so?"

"I know so. I have a huge gaydar. I could have told you were gay the first time I say you. Glad you could join the club." Robin held her hand up waiting for Will to give her a high five.

"you're gay?!" Will asked completely shocked.

"well duh?" Robin said as if it were obviously (it is)
 
Suddenly Steve came in, "Robin! Stop talking and come scoop some damn ice cream we have customers!" steve said before turning his attention the the small boy, "hey will."

"I'm coming dingus." Robin scoffed before writing down her number on a piece of paper, handing it to will. "You can always call me if you need to talk."

"thanks." will said as he followed Robin out the back of the Store.

Will was now in JCPennys looking for his sister. He suddenly heard what sounded like two girls giggling.

"Hey will where did you go?" Max asked, she and el were trying to walk in heels.

Suddenly El fell to the ground causing max to burst into to laughter, her soon falling into the ground as well. Will just started down at the two girl that were currently laughing hysterically on the ground, causing a few stares form other people but the two didn't care.

"You guys are so stupid sometimes." Will chuckled.
