The crowd had a life of its own, swaying their bodies to the beat of the loud music that boomed through the huge speakers set up around the ground.

The concert was being held in a place that resembled an empty land in the middle of nowhere. There were cross roads present around the ground, but it made little to no sense as to why they were here, and there were very few vehicles moving.

There were many cars parked in the adjacent land, that was graced with a board that read 'parking area'. Stalls with food, drinks and beverages were set up in another part of the huge place, which was divided by a tiny road that ran right in the middle.

But other than the strange location, the concert was amazingly organised. The stage, complete with colorful lights and instruments, resembled an actual concert in which really popular singers sang.

"I'm scared." Atsumu's voice echoed through the empty room, that was temporarily set up next to the stage.

"Don't worry, you'll do fine." Kiyoomi assured him.

It was the blonde's turn on the stage next, and he was very nervous; or rather, he couldn't just put what he was feeling, into a single word.

He felt like this whole thing wasn't a good idea. He had a strong sense of thought that he should have just ditched the concert, had an ice cream, and just watched movies or just chat with kiyoomi all day.

"I don't want to!" Atsumu said, for the 15th time that day.

Kiyoomi sighed. 1.32 am - the watch on his wrist read.

"Atsumu." He looked into the other's eyes. "It will help your future. You might be nervous now, but you might regret missing this chance. So, just do it alright?"

"But," atsumu insisted, a bit hesitant.

"No buts," kiyoomi cut in. "I'm sure you will do great."

The blonde didn't want to agree, but didn't want to argue anymore either.

He looked down, and stared at his feet feeling like an adamant child; much to his disappointment. Kiyoomi always said he behaved like a kid. Maybe it wasn't a good thing, maybe he was acting like a spoilt brat, maybe kiyoomi meant it in a bad way.

His thoughts ran all over the place, making him more nervous.

He felt a heavy presence on top of his head. Atsumu looked up to find kiyoomi, as usual ruffling his hair. He's never said it to him, but whenever he does that, he felt peaceful and happy. It helped him now.

"You'll do it."

"...okay.." atsumu admitted, much to his dismay. He didn't want to be a burden and make kiyoomi feel awful again. He'd never do it again. He'd never want to be someone who kiyoomi doesn't like to be with.

Kiyoomi nodded and smiled encouragingly.

1.38 am.

"Now let's all welcome the freshman who's voice is voted to be the most angelic in our college poll! The famous MIYA ATSUMU will now take over the stage! Are you ready???"

The crowd roared in response to the host, startling Atsumu. Kiyoomi patted his head and told him to go on.

Atsumu nodded and walked slowly towards the stairs that led him to the stage. He glanced back at kiyoomi, who was waiting for him to go ahead.

He had a questioning look, as if asking why atsumu was just standing there instead of going.

" I love you omi." Atsumu's whisper brought a smile on kiyoomi's face.

"I love you too, now go ahead." The black haired male mouthed to him.

Atsumu flashed a huge grin and walked towards the stage.

The students that were supposed to play the instruments greeted the blonde with a hifi and fist bumps, as he made his way to the centre.

He waved at the crowd happily, that waved back with twice as much enthusiasm.

His eyes searched for the particular set of black orbs among the crowd.

Unable to come across them, he sighed lightly and looked ahead. He grabbed the mic and greeted the loud crowd.

He knew what he had to sing, he knew the lyrics. He turned to his friends and gave a slight signal, indicating that they should start the karaoke anytime now.

They all gave a enthusiastic nod back. Atsunu turned to face the crowd again. He closed his eyes, preparing himself.

You know I want you
It's not a secret I try to hide

His soft voice filled the place. The crowd listened with happiness, some shouting in excitement at the song.

I know you want me
So don't keep sayin' our hands are tied
You claim it's not in the cards
And fate is pullin' you miles away
And out of reach from me
But you're here in my heart
So who can stop me if I decide

He sang, slowly opening his eyes to see the reaction of the crowd.

The blonde stared at a pair of dark eyes, very familiar to him; staring back at him. Atsumu smiled.

Kiyoomi smiled back, "Go on."

That you're my destiny?

He sang, looking right at kiyoomi. The black haired male blushed slightly, feeling special.

Atsumu closed his eyes, and began to sing after the music slowed down in the behind.

What if we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine
Nothing could keep us apart
You'd be the one I was meant to find
It's up to you, and it's up to me
No one can say what we get to be
So why don't we rewrite the stars?
Maybe the world could be ours
Tonight.

Atsumu forgot everything. Everything that bothered him, kept him awake at late nights, worrying him; things that never made sense. He closed his eyes and sang, completely immersing himself in the song.

You think it's easy
You think I don't wanna run to you
But there are mountains
And there are doors that we can't walk through
I know you're wondering why because we're able to be
Just you and me within these walls
But when we go outside, you're gonna wake up and see
That it was hopeless after all

No one can rewrite the stars
How can you say you'll be mine?
Everything keeps us apart
And I'm not the one you were meant to find
It's not up to you
It's not up to me
When everyone tells us what we can be
How can we rewrite the stars?
Say that the world can be ours
Tonight

All I want is to fly with you
All I want is to fall with you
So just give me all of you
It feels impossible
It's not impossible
Is it impossible?
Say that it's possible

How do we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine?
Nothing can keep us apart
'Cause you are the one I was meant to find
It's up to you
And it's up to me
No one can say what we get to be
And why don't we rewrite the stars?
Changing the world to be ours

You know I want you
It's not a secret I try to hide
But I can't have you
We're bound to break and my hands are tied

Atsumu completed the song by repeating the lyrics, and opened his eyes ; the bright light hurting his eyes.

Adjusting his blurry vision, he looked ahead and searched.

But his eyes didn't meet the one he had expected it to.
