●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●"Maa, we wanna get that!" The black haired twins asked excitedly.
"Here you go, be careful!" Their mother warned as she handed over the money to her kids. The boys nodded and walked away to get the cotton candy they'd asked. They had come to a carnival, which had almost all sorts of entertainment.
The boys walked past a lot of shops filled with attractive goods. Atsumu, the usually eager boy, observed his surroundings.
The carnival was being held in a breezy and open land surrounded by tall trees. The inviting aroma of different delicious food being cooked and served was fresh and familiar. The sun was slowly going down the horizon. The burning light of the sun got dull and now looked like a huge disc of orange and yellow. Trees, shops, people, everything was being illuminated by a golden glow. The floating clouds now resembled a stretch of fire.
The beautiful and enchanting scenery present before him, gave him a sense of happiness. No, it was rather a peculiar feeling he had never felt before. Atsumu smiled at the happy people, parents busy with their children who wanted to go to all the rides present in the carnival, the teenagers standing in groups, chatting and laughing, old people being happy and content with everything they've had, the shopkeepers' smiles when they see someone buying something happily from their shops, every little thing felt special and beautiful to Atsumu.
He was always the kind of person who wanted to be happy, and always prayed that the people he cared about, should be happy. It was how he was brought up. His mother had given him nothing but love ever since he remembers. He felt blessed to have a kind hearted mother like her. She was calm, generous, fair minded and most of all, she loved her kids.
Atsumu was grateful to that, and his brother ofcourse. They may have silly fights and clashes, but they shared a bond, one that no one could break. Identical twins are said to share such a bond. They both knew they deeply cared about each other, but they'd never admit it. But if there's a problem for one, the other would surely leave behind everything, just for him. Atsumu smiled at the thought.
"Oi tsumu, stop smiling. You look creepy." Osamu flicked the said boy's forehead.
"Ow! Why do you keep hitting me everytime, stupid samu!" Atsumu whined as he rubbed his forehead.
Osamu smirked and pointed to the cotton candy shop, saying they've arrived. They went in and brought themselves two.
But Osamu had to share his with Atsumu because, the latter had tripped and fell to the ground, dropping the candy during the process.
"What is your head even made of, tsumu? Are ya brainless or something?" Osamu scolded him as he helped the other stand up, and dust his clothes. Only after having a loud laugh though.
"'M sorry." Atsumu mumbled, apologising silently.
"You better be! I lost half of my cotton candy because of you."
"Wait what-"
The twins kept teasing each other as they made their way through the crowds.
".....hey samu,.......where's mom?" Atsumu asked as he looked around and noticed they weren't standing at the place they had originally planned to meet their mom in.
"Huh?!"
