The chattering noises echoed through the hallways as kiyoomi took his steps towards the cafeteria. He was tired, the first few classes he had were just icebreakers and introductions, but that was enough to exhaust him.

The thought of having to talk with many people itself make him bored. He sighed as he placed his food tray, in an empty table located far from others.

He just got to know a few people here, but he wasn't that close for them to sit together. And kiyoomi preferred sitting alone anyway.

He picked up the spoon and stared at the food. He had an aching feeling in his heart, he missed his mother's cooking already. The loud noises around the cafeteria wasn't helping either.

He put on his earphones and put up a random song.

Can't do crowds
Not our scene
We get anxiety

He heard the song and slightly smiled at the lyrics. As he was humming to the song and eating his food, he noticed someone tap the table.

He looked up to meet a known face, and familiar pair of eyes.

You make me not wanna die

Is how you annoy me daily
But you still fucking amaze me
That's so us that's so us
Yeah, we're both a lot to handle

Kiyoomi slowly removes the the earplugs and looked at the guy standing there with his tray.

"Um, may I sit here?" The boy asked and pointed to the seat that was opposite to kiyoomi's.

"Sure." He replied politely and started to eat again.

An awkward silence began to fill the atmosphere, making atsumu feel a bit weird. But he couldn't help but think he has seen his roommate somewhere before.

"I'm Atsumu Miya, what's your name?" He breaks the silence and smiles at the other.

Kiyoomi stares at him for a second before replying," Kiyoomi Sakusa."

"Nice to meet you sakusa-kun!" Atsumu said cheerfully. Sakusa was going through his brain whether he's seen this guy somewhere before, because his name was awfully familiar.

"No need to be formal." Sakusa says quietly, and looked at his food.

Atsumu nodded happily and starts eating.

"I miss my mom's food" atsumu says out loudly and pouted.

Sakusa awkwardly stays silent because he didn't know what he was supposed to reply to that.

"Hey,Do you know me???" Atsumu questioned as he pointed to himself. Kiyoomi looks up at him, and nodded his head.

"Well, i now know your name. But you seem .... familiar." He says honestly.

"I know you! You're an Youtuber aren't you? I've seen your cover videos!" Atsumu says enthusiastically.

"Ohh! Uh, I'm glad." Kiyoomi wanted to run away from this stupid conversation. He didn't fucking know what to reply and there was no one like his cousin to help him with his awkwardness now.

"You're just like I thought you'd be." Atsumu chuckled."I figured you'd be a quiet kid since you don't talk much in your videos except singing!"

"......" Kiyoomi was having an internal crisis of whether or not he should just bury himself under a deep pit and die.

While he stayed silent, he suddenly had a thought strike his mind. He remembered something.

"You're an ... youtuber too, right?" He asks atsumu, not quite sure about his thoughts.

"Ha! You remembered! Yes, I am!" Atsumu grinned at him.

"...yeah...you're just like I thought you'd be too." He says silently.

"Like what??" The blonde asks curiously.

"Super loud and talks too much" kiyoomi says nonchalantly and resumes eating his food.

"What! No, that's wrong!" Atsumu whined. "Okay, you maybe a tiny bit right, but I'm not THAT loud!"

The black haired teen just chuckled and mumbled a small "yeah yeah, whatever."

He felt a strange kind of easiness suddenly. He was able to talk freely to this person. Like they knew each other for months when its only been a few minutes. It was rare, he had never felt this comfortable talking to anyone else. The awkwardness he first had was now far gone.

The rest of the lunch they remained silent, just focusing on eating quietly.

"I'm gonna go to my class, see you later." The taller male says as he stood up from his seat.

"Ohh! Wait a second! I'll come with ya!" Atsumu replies hurriedly and packs his stuff in a swift.

Kiyoomi just stood there thinking about how Atsumu switched accents out of nowhere. Once the blonde noticed this, he laughed nervously, "u-uh, I talk in a weird accent so, I try to talk normally when I meet someone new." He explained.

"That's fine, just speak in whatever your true accent is." Kiyoomi says in a low tone as he turns to walk towards the class.

Atsumu blinked his eyes in confusion for a second. He didn't think kiyoomi would just speak whatever he felt like speaking, and not to mention he was actually being sweet without realising it. The blonde smiled to himself and followed him.

"Hey, can I have yer number?" The shorter singer asks the other as he caught up with him. "We are roommates, it would be useful ya know?"

"Yeah, okay." Kiyoomi says.

They continued walking towards their respective classrooms, after exchanging numbers. A few girls around them, suddenly seemed to recogonise who they were, as they were pointing to them and talking with their friends in a hushed way.

"Miya, would you please walk away from me or something?" Kiyoomi whispers to atsumu, "they are all looking at you, since you're with me , I'm feeling uncomfortable here."

Atsumu stared at kiyoomi for a while before laughing. "Don't ya realise they are also looking at ya? I mean you're popular too." He whispered back.

"I don't think so, they are all pointing at you, see!" Kiyoomi reasoned and squints his eyes at some of them.

Atsumu looked at him, and smiled. Kiyoomi was acting stupid sometimes and it's honestly, quite adorable.

"Well, I'm irresistibly cute, what can i do?" Atsumu smirked at kiyoomi.

The other rolled his eyes as he reached the classroom. "Bye." He mumbled and enters the room.

"Byeee!" Atsumu waved back and walks to his classroom.

It was nothing special, just two people who were roommates, and had no other choice but to be friends with each other.

And his setter harem, oh my god. I dont ship him with anyone lmao. Of course, everyone are allowed to ship whoever they want!! I meant, that I'm just not a big fan of them.

Like, a lot of em ship atsumu with hinata, and i just like sakuatsu too much for me to ship atsuhina.

Just had to tell someone this, because none of the people ik irl would hear me out lol (the sad life).
