Atsumu looked around and scanned the place he was in.
A forest?
Why was he here?
The blonde took small steps straight ahead, hoping he would get out of here. The dry twigs cracked under the shoes, filling the heavy atmosphere with the only noise.
The tall trees towering him scared Atsumu. Not a life could be seen except trees and plants. Dried leaves graced the muddy wet floor in which the blonde walked on.
Pushing aside a bushy creeper, he could see a small clearing in the middle of the forest. The bright yellow sunlight hurt his eyes, making him close it in reflex.
Rubbing his eyes, he opened them and squinted ahead.
Who was that?
"...hey what place is this?" Atsumu asked the unknown man, who was standing in the middle of the clearing, back facing atsumu. The expected answer didn't come.
The blonde slowly made his way towards the man, his hands trembling with fear, his heart pounding.
He tapped on the man's shoulder lightly.
The person turned slowly.
Atsumu gasped and took a step back.
It was Kiyoomi. And he was crying. Tears rolled over from his eyes, making a clean wet line along his flushed cheeks. But still, his lips were curved into a smile. A bright smile.
It was as if he was happy. Very happy. And the tears, were happy tears.
"Omi-kun!" Atsumu shouted as he tried to hug him.
But he couldn't. However hard atsumu tried to, he couldn't reach him. Kiyoomi was right before him, happy and perfect. But he couldn't reach him.
Atsumu cried, still trying to reach him.
He was shaking. No, he was being shook. Someone was shaking him.
"Atsumu-kun! Wake up!"
He heard a voice that was blocked out from his ears. He opened his eyes in a flash, heart still pounding, lips still trembling.
He looked around the place he was in now. It wasn't a forest? Where was he now?
He panicked and began breathing in an unsteady form. He glanced at the person before him now.
Black hair. Black eyes.
"....omi-kun?..."
"No, its his mom. Are you okay? "
This snapped atsumu out of his trance. He composed himself a little and smiled, even though deep inside, he was still as scared as ever.
"...I-im okay Akira-san!" He said quickly.
"You're crying." She said and handed over a tissue.
Atsumu placed his fingers on his face. Tears.
He grabbed the tissues in a swift and wiped his face.
"I'm really okay! It was just a .... dream."
"Good one or a bad one?" Akira asked, sitting beside atsumu.
"Not sure."
"You should go back atsumu-kun. Its been two days already."
The blonde looked down. "I dont wanna go there without omi."
True, he didn't want to go back there without the one who he had spent the most time with.
