A while ago, I read through a series of books my friend Brooke wrote with her friend called 'Genie Tales'. As we read, I found myself interested in the world and characters and attempted to convince her to write a new installment with me. Brooke, however, wasn't too keen on return to the Genie Tales universe as she associated it with some pretty bad memories so she purposely dodged any attempt I tried to make to have her write the story with me until one day. Neither of us remember who came up with the idea but I do know Brooke came up with the title: Genie Stories. A sequel/reboot. So we wrote the book you are about to read, started (and scrapped) a sequel, wrote a new one and are currently working on a third book. For now, here's 'Genie Stories - Book 1: The Dance", the first book in the Genie Stories saga. Enjoy!
