Once they arrived they all dismounted and asked for entrance from the gate keeper which he allowed and one by one they all went through the gates finding the queen islanzadi who first went to her daughter they played catch up before welcomed her guests and apologizing for her rudeness stopping at me with a surprised look
"You are interesting" is all she said to me when a male elf on a golden dragon arrived 'note to self heal his leg' jaune thought after all of the introductions eragon mounted and flew off jaune walked up to the menoa tree and unleashed stupendous amount of aura to wake her up
"Ah good morning my lady" jaune said to the tree
"What is it you want" the tree asked in annoyance and being disturbed
"The brightsteel cluster at your roots" jaune said eragon and the old elf had decided to join him the elf slightly annoyed at being ignored but kept a calm look on his face
"She won't respond" the elf said
"She already responded now shush old man I'm busy" jaune said
"And if I give it to you" the tree asked
"I can free you from the tree and return you to your youth linnëa" jaune said in the ancient language while speaking her elven name so she could tell he wasn't lying
"I am happy as I am take your metal and leave me in peace" linnëa said jaune bowed
"As you wish" jaune said as the roots lifted revealing the cluster of brightsteel he required
"Thank you" jaune said as the tree dozed off back into her slumber
"She actually responded impressive" the old elf said
"Yes well I don't really care if I impressed you old man there are very few I want praise from you aren't one of tme" jaune said returning to the human tongue
"Don't expect to constantly speak in the ancient language I find it useless also..." jaune trailed off he walked to the golden dragons injured leg and pulled out his wand touching before casting the spell as the leg regrew itself he put his wand away
"Try not to get your leg cut off again reviewing injured limbs is annoying" jaune said the elf had already dismounted and was gawking at the leg that just regrew
"Incredible" the old elf said
"Yes I am sure it is now if you will excuse me" jaune said
"wait" the old elf said
"yes old man" jaune asked
"I am called oromis and I was told you have a dragon egg in your possession" oromis said jaune rolled his eyes and pulled out the green egg
"Amazing I was told you knew who it was gonna hatch for how" oromis said
"I am not going to tell you all of my secrets old man" jaune said
"Who will it hatch for" oromis asked
"on the condition both of you swear to me now you will not say to the person I shall tell you and allow me to take the person with me when I leave after the tyrants death I will tell you" jaune said oromis did so immediate eragon was a bit more reluctant but he also gave his word in the ancient language he then turned to the two dragons who also gave their word
"Arya" jaune said
"Ah so you plan to try and court her" oromis said
"No I plan to have her ask me I have a plan don't worry" jaune said this hurt eragon he also had feelings for arya yet jaune was better then him in everyway
"Now if that's all their is something I need to do and eragon catch" jaune said he made a copy of the dark repulser and through it at eragon
"Keep it you may need it in the future" jaune said eragon was confused but nodded nonetheless if there was one thing eragon knew about the man before him it was that jaune never did anything without reason
