After the wedding when jaune finally got out of bed with his new wife he told her he needed to have a meeting with his riders she said that was fine but to come to the throne room when he could
"Jaune I'm certain your aware" arya said
"Yes I know this changes everything" jaune said
"What are we gonna do" Lucy said
"take them with us remember the bothers said that we would have an unlimited supply of eggs until we get back to remnant" jaune said
"Yes but remember how the treated afina and tyrian" Lucy asked she was still rather upset at her dragons treatment
"She has a point who's to say they don't continue doing it with their own dragons" arya asked
"We teach them the meaning of a bond" jaune said with a smirk
"Use the queen" erza asked
"Exactly" jaune said the group nodded and he bid them good day before heading for the throne room he found rather amusing how all the amazons he passed bowed to him and afina who he was riding
He nodded to them
as he arrived at the hall he dismounted
"i'll call if your needed" jaune said afina nodded and took flight he entered the hall and went to the throne room where he noticed they set up a second throne for himself he nodded to his wife who nodded at him in turn and he sat down
"sorry for being late" jaune said
"its fine your people weren't expecting this i am sure it changed your plans drastically" hippolyta said
"yes and our dragons but potentially in a good way" jaune said
"you speak of your beasts as if they are like us" hippolyta said
"that's because they are they aren't some dumb beasts like the horses your people ride they are sentient creatures who have wants and needs like the rest of us" jaune said
"can you prove it" hippolyta said jaune smiled
"i can prove our bond quite easily" jaune said revealing to her a white dragon egg
"you aren't" hippolyta asked
"have some faith in your husband i will teach you how to treat a dragon" jaune said
hippolyta took the egg and almost immediately a crack formed as the dragon clawed it's way out she in spite of herself began smiling as she went to pet the dragon but the moment she touched it she received the gedway ignasia she jumped and jaune calmed here down
"sh honey its okay this is supposed to happen i promise" jaune said
"i just felt something touch my mind" hippolyta said jaune nodded
"that is also good your dragon is an infant right now it's learning and it becomes your responsibility to teach it" jaune said
"teach it" hippolyta asked
"of course i said they were sentient creatures that doesn't mean that they know everything at birth did you know how to be a queen when you were born" jaune asked she shook her head
"i'm beginning to understand" hippolyta said jaune nodded
"good its almost sunset and i have work i need to do i will see you probably tomorrow" jaune said
"but" hippolyta said
"i can't sleep with you every night for one thing the rest of my girls will have my head" jaune said chuckling hippolyta understood
"but you won't be sleeping tonight will you" hippolyta said even if they haven't known each other long but she believed she still knew her husband
"probably not" jaune admitted he nodded to hippolyta
"oh jaune" hippolyta said jaune turned
"have your riders move into the palace" hippolyta said jaune smiled
"understood" jaune said
he returned to the house and told his riders to get going to the palace as hippolyta said
"what will you be doing" arya asked
"i have forging to do do not disturb me" jaune said arya looked at him for a moment
"sleep a little" erza said
"no promises" jaune said as he disappeared into his forge in the basement of the house and got to work he first forged his wife's blade that took a few hours then he began to forge katana after katana
"what is my husband doing he hasn't left that house in days" hippolyta asked
"and he won't until he either passes out from sleep deprivation or he finishes afina is keeping an eye on him" arya assured her although she had to admit she was worried too
jaune was in his forge for over a week before he finally left exhausted as he limped over to afina's side
"help me afina" jaune whispered too tired to remember their mind link she understood using her snout as a step stool she lifted him into the saddle once in place she took flight to the castle while contacting arya telling her of the exhausted jaune on her back
the moment afina landed arya and the rest of jaunes harem were immediately at afina's side carefully pulling the barely concious jaune towards the castle and to the royal quarters
"you pushed yourself way to far" arya said
"worth it for our people" jaune whispered too tired to speak any louder arya shook her head
"care more about your own well being" arya said
"you know that isn't gonna happen" jaune said with a small smile as they arrived arya gently laid jaune down on the bed
"get a good sleep" arya said jaune nodded and as soon as his eyes shut he was out
"what was he doing that did this" hippolyta asked arya clenched the sheath of her katana
"i have a hunch" arya said as she returned to the house and down to his forged and she looked around to see her hunch was correct he forged a blade for every amazon on the island
"i thought so" arya said
"what is this" hippolyta said
"have you noticed all of us riders have a katana with a blade that matches the color of our dragons" erza asked
"this is" hippolyta said the riders nodded
"he plans to turn all of the amazons into powerful dragon riders" lucy said
"as expected of our leader really" murtagh said
"agreed this is the masters way of things" saber said alter nodded
