jaune arc was exposed by the person who he saved and now everyone including his own team shunned him but a trip to the emerald forest causes him to meet the two brother gods who give him an interesting opportunity
he took out her keys and one by one summoned them summoning aquarius last with no idea what was coming
"Hello I am jaune" jaune said
"Where's Lucy" leo said
"Safe I assure you I am trying to help her and you while I'm at it" jaune said
"what do you need from us" Aquarius asked
"First you need some information" jaune said snapping his fingers and in an instant all of them was gripping their heads as knowledge rushed through them he waited until they looked like they had processed everything
"Alright now you know everything my goal is to turn Lucy into a dragon rider the problem being she needs to be a skilled swordsman as is tradition so what I was hoping to get your permission for is I want to transfer your powers into the blade i am gonna forge for her" jaune said
"Okay so what's the problem" Leo said
"I intend to make the sword in essence one massive key for all of you what this unfortunately means is your actual keys were shattered" jaune said and now they began to understand....... except for aquarius
"My key is already shattered how do you plan to......." aquarius stopped as she held aquarius's completely repaired key
"My magic is different from yours so a simple repairing job does quite nicely the difference is however that unlike your key where half the key was still left once I complete the ritual nothing will be left" jaune said
"She would still be able to summon us right" cancer asked
"Yes but you will be connected to her for eternity you see my ultimate goal is to transfer your spirits into the blade this will mean you can act as spectral bodies but you may not be able to return to the celestial world nor will you be able to find a new host unless Lucy relinquishes the blade" jaune said and now they began to understand
"What were to happen if she died" Leo asked
"All of the blades I forge hold an enchantment where the would go to me and if I were to die there is a special catacombs only riders can enter it will house all of the blades of past riders for future riders to use" jaune said
"And we will be able to speak to her whenever" leo asked
"Whenever she calls your name although you won't be her only power you will probably be her main one" jaune said
"I am willing to undergo this I owe Lucy everything this is the least I can do for her" Leo said
"As am i" Aquarius said and one by one all of lucies zodiac keys agreed he nodded and told them to wait a moment as he took out his metals including the bright steel they also gave him basically an unlimited amount until he reaches his home world where it will be shrunken down to enough to two make two
When complete he inspected his work he made the blade a gold color he basically based everything around the gold zodiac keys and she will be getting a gold dragon too
"Now comes the unpleasant part" jaune said
"well in order for this blade to house your power it has to absorb you by stabbing you" jaune said as he summoned Lucy
"Guys" Lucy said confused as to how she got here or how all of her spirits were out
"Princess" Leo said they were all determined to do this but now they started to feel bad
"As stated earlier you were chosen to join the ranks as a dragon rider and all dragon riders are swords my dragon riders wield katanas" jaune said
"Where are you going with this" lucy said
"I can't have you relying on your keys I want you to rely on your sword so i asked them to help me and well you have a choice you can I do the task your self B stay while I do the task or C you can leave while do the task" jaune said somberly he really felt bad but he couldn't really find a better way of doing this
"What needs to be done" Lucy asked
"Lucy that blade needs to stab us" Aquarius said normally she would be yelling at Lucy however this was one instance where she needed to be treated kindly
"What" Lucy said shocked
"It won't kill them it will just place their spirits in this blade so you can tap into their powers" jaune promised
"wait we are trapping their entire beings into the sword" Lucy said even more shocked and starting to get a bit disgusted with this plan
"Princess we want to do this we agreed you need this that sword will allow you to tap directly into our powers" leo said
"And you can still summon them as you wish they just won't be able to go back to the celestial world" jaune said
"I....." lucy didn't want this jaune kept quiet it was ultimately her choice
"Princess this is for your own good" virgo stepped up and said she looked around at all of her zodiac spirits who all look determined as her eyes disappear from her hair she takes the golden katana from jaune

She unsheaths it and walks forward towards Aquarius
"Alright" she says as a single tear falls from her face she takes the sword her hand clasps around it tighter and she stabs aquarius who doesn't move and allows it to happen
"This way we are all always with you" Lucy said giving her a warm smile as she vanished into particles which are absorbed by the sword Leo then steps forward and takes the blade into his hands positioning it front of his chest
"Never cry be happy" Leo says as she drives the blade through him absorbing him as well and one by one they are all absorbed once finished the blade falls from her hands and she begins balling her eyes droping to her knees out jaune does his best to comfort her
