jaune arc was exposed by the person who he saved and now everyone including his own team shunned him but a trip to the emerald forest causes him to meet the two brother gods who give him an interesting opportunity
Everyone prepared for the final battle arya and eragon left with their dragons and the elves that were sent to guard eragon at the burning plains or what's left of them jaune joined roran at the front of the battle line
"So blademaster this is it huh" roran said

The battle as jaune predicted at first went really well and then lord barst appeared
And the battle turned as islanzadi's sword shattered and barst brought his blade down he was blocked by jaune with a smirk
"Enkatsu" jaune said as the blade transformed into a very familiar shield with a sword sticking out

"Bring the world to peace yasuragi" jaune chanted as he exploded with energy launching both the still living elf queen and barst a new sword in hand

"Lets end this" jaune said bringing the blade above his head
"I seek the first dawn to protect those who cannot and strike down those who seek malevolence reveal thy strength and strike my enemies Excalibur" jaune chanted taking energy from afina he slashed down the strike obliterated barst
"I think you can handle the rest stronghammer your majesty" jaune said they nodded as he remounted afina
"Let's go rescue the dumbass afina" jaune said she nodded and took flight towards the castle he drew his wand and disabled all of the traps within the castle with ease coming to the main throne room where he found galbatorix trying to break into eragon's mind while screaming at him to submit
"Stupify" jaune chanted loudly no longer caring of his spells were heard since the tyrant had no idea how his magic worked
The tyrant was thrown back very confused as jaune walked in but he looked different he was wearing his original armor
"It has been so long since I have worn this armor but I figured I should go back to my roots" jaune said he then placed his hand on the hilt of his blade
"Enkatsu" jaune said and the blade transformed into the actual crocea mors he drew it and activated the sheath shield
And charged at galbatorix
"Both of us can use magic and both sides can't get into the others mind so with that being said lets make this a duel with our swords" jaune said
"Very well" galbatorix picking up his own weapon which he stole
And they charged at each other galbatorix swinging down and jaune blocking with his shield before counter attacking with his sword this caught galbatorix off guard at the speed in which jaune was able to counter attack causing him to stumble jaune took this advantage and used his shield to push back galbatorix stumbled jaune took more advantage swinging his blade up and disarming the mad king before pushing him to the ground as galbatorix went back up jaune had his foot on galbatorix's chest pushing him back to the ground as his blade reverted to the blue katana he was using he also reverted to his shihakusho
"Surrender your army is being obliterated and you have lost" jaune said
"I will never surrender waise neiat" he said
Jaune cursed as he ran towards arya drawing his wand and pointing it nasuada
"alohomora" jaune chanted
"Jaune we need to get the egg and the eldunari" arya said jaune cursed again
"Eragon I need like ten of the eldunari you have" jaune said
"Wait your asking for help" eragon said
"gloat later eldunari please" jaune said
"We will follow you blademaster" umaroth said he nodded and placed ten of the eldunari in his pocket dimension
"Afina you and fírnen are too big go with eragon" jaune said
"Be safe" afina said
"I have satsuki and the eldunari I will be fine" jaune promised
He arya and some of the elves ran to the treasury jaune used his magic to hold the place up while they got the egg and captured eldunari and we just barely escaped meeting eragon at the outskirts of the castle
"You made it" eragon said
"I promised afina I would I will never break a promise I made her nor with arya" jaune said 'nor anyone else in my harem but you don't need to know that part' jaune thought to himself
"I have the egg and now we can fetch the others as well" arya said
"What about the eldunari he captured" eragon asked
"Confused" arya said as jaune returned the eldunari he took with him to eragon
"I no longer have need of them" jaune said
"You actually asked for help you the blademaster who rubs it in how much better you are to me" eragon sneered getting a bit of revenge
"Tell me shadeslayer can you hold up a castle falling apart by yourself" jaune asked and eragon shut up his revenge very short lived
"I didn't think so" jaune said
After that they returned to camp arya had to convince him to come to the after battle meeting and was told because he defeated galbatorix be could become the new king
"Jaune and I will be leaving alagaësia so him he can't become king since we won't be returning" arya said speaking for her lover before he bites someone's head off and then feed them to afina
"You could let him speak for himself" nasuada said
"I am protecting you jaune is not in a very good mood because he didn't want to be in this meeting when he knows how it will end everyone should know how this will end" arya said
"Oh and how will this end do tell" orrin asked
"The choices will come down to you two orrin and nasuada both of you will argue with each other and in the end everyone including all three of us riders will back nasuada you two will come to an agreement where she will give you land and you will let go of the throne making her queen" arya said they all looked at her then realized something and began staring at jaune who came up with this since he was right that was probably exactly what would happen
"Can we go now" jaune asked exasperated
"Yeah go ahead" nasuada said and jaune and arya left thinking eragon and islanzadi could vouch for them
