jaune arc was exposed by the person who he saved and now everyone including his own team shunned him but a trip to the emerald forest causes him to meet the two brother gods who give him an interesting opportunity
Once that was done and Lucy calmed down he got Lucy up and gave her a golden version of the shihakusho wearing one in blue himself deciding this would be the uniform of the corps a shihakusho but instead of black it is in the color of your dragon your sash being a slightly lighter color
He then brought her to the rest of the group and had them change as such also reforging murtagh's weapon in the same style he forged arya's lucy's and his own and then he forged erza a blade in the same fashion
Once that was complete he gave erza and Lucy their eggs erza got a red egg and katana

And then he began training them mainly Lucy as he was able to use the gods to make simulations for her to run through she became pretty strong pretty fast knowing when to use her skill which surprising was rather high or when to use her celestial abilities also coming to terms with that
Lucy also grew feelings for jaune much to erza's satisfaction it was the reason she wanted Lucy to come
Speaking of which saber and alter also confessed which honestly didn't really surprise jaune he knew they had feelings for him but just didn't want to push it and that just made them live him more these two were also the only exceptions to his orders way they received dragons however he didn't tell them to change their way of fighting he didn't think there was any need to considering who these two represent
Once lucies physical sword training was complete jaune had her and everybody else while he was at it bond with the dragon and of course it was at that moment afina held a competition that jaune absolutely despise
Here is how it would work there would be a race then then their would be a battle
Then once the battle was complete afina said the final part of the tournament would consist of three stages an obstacle course another race and another battle round but this time the riders and the dragons would both have spells placed on them so that they would be stuck in their own minds meaning they couldn't communicate with each other
This whole exercise forced the riders to use bridles to just tell their dragons what to do but what surprised was everybody but jaune agreed including the dragons
So he gave in
It was actually a fun tournament for all sides their was also a battle tournament without dragons at all and then th first tournament held strange round like one was you had to stand on your dragons back if job fell you lost one which again afina came up with was to stand on the dragons head as they battle same rule applied if you failed you lost
The tournament was a lot of fun for everyone jaune obviously not to the final round he had the most experience as dragon rider this made sense but his opponent and the other hand made it to the final round was surprisingly lucy she had grown into a very formidable warrior
The final round was a race with basically no rules you could fight during the race
The race itself came neck and neck but jaune had been hiding his ace as he used his weapons ability to transform itself it the crescent rose in sniper mode he began blasting knocking her out of the race of course no real harm was done the gods healed her back to peak condition but by that point he had already crossed the finish line
Where the spells were removed
"For someone who hated this part of the tournament you sure looked like you were enjoying yourself" Lucy said
"Yeah i got with the program" jaune said
"See I told you it wasn't so bad" afina said making the dragons version of a chuckle he pulled hard on the reins which instead of making her stop only caused her to purr
"You are a strange one" jaune said
"I know" afina said
"Now that all of you have thoroughly trained we have decided to send you to a different world outside of where you achieved your powers called the world of DC" the god of light said
"Specifically because we believe you will find excellent riders there and be careful some of them are so goody to shoes that they can't even kill just to let you know" the god of darkness said jaune nodded
"We are ready" jaune said and the god of light waved his hand
