The vault of souls

After finishing their conversation they left for the evening jaune and arya started sleeping with each other so they left for his tent

After the meeting which literally told them nothing they began packing and planing for their trip to the doru araeba

The trip was harsh and unforgiving afina had a bit more energy then saphira or fírnen because that's how she trained herself she wanted her rider and herself in the air as long as possible fírnen was a close second since he picked up on afina's training and it helped how their riders could gode them on by using the reins

"What's inside the vault of souls" eragon asked

"Eggs and eldunari" jaune said

"That's impossible me and oromis would have known" glaedr said

"You did know the dragons wiped your memory in fear you would be captured and galbatorix would learn of it their are 136 eldunari if memory serves and over two hundred eggs 26 of those eggs are matched to riders the rest are wild dragons" jaune said

"How do you know" saphira asked

"That even the eldunari within the vault do not know and I intend to keep it that way" jaune said

When they arrived jaune led the way to the rock before drawing his wand

"alohomora" jaune chanted and the rock opened

As they entered beings tried to enter their minds keyword being tried

For eragon, saphira and glaedr they succeeded for arya fírnen afina and jaune the failed miserably

"Ah it seems you four are quite skilled at protecting your minds" a being said they could get inside to speak but they couldn't peruse their memories

"Yes I pride myself in occlumency" jaune said they were confused what the word meant they guessed it meant protecting from mind readers

"Well I am also aware that you knew of this place care to explain how" umaroth asked

"Nope that would be the point of hiding there are secrets I wish to keep where the only people that know besides myself are of course afina, arya and fírnen which is why I make sure no one can read their minds

"Yes well you are powerful enough that you could have ended this war already so i would assume there is something you want from us" umaroth said

"You would be correct I want have of the eggs destined to be with riders" jaune said

"And what would you do with them" umaroth asked

"I would pick those I deem worthy hope the egg hatches for that person so I can build my own order back home" jaune said

"Where you come from the riders died out" umaroth asked jaune shook his head

"Where I come from the riders don't exist and are desperately needed" jaune said they could tell he was speaking the truth for two reason first his face held an ultimate sincerity and second he said that last line in the ancient language so it was impossible to lie

He conferred with the other eldunari for a moment

"What were to happen if one person wasn't worthy" umaroth asked

"I would hope to find another one" jaune said but he was thinking in his mind behind his walls that he had away to make them hatch for the riders of his choosing thanks to the brother gods

Yet again umaroth conferred with the other eldunari before coming to a decision

"Very well we shall agree to your deal" umaroth said jaune smiled

"thank you for your assistance now then" jaune he drew his wand

"Who is staying here" jaune asked the five that chose to remain behind were chosen jaune pointed at the rest with his wand

"wingardium leviosa" jaune chanted and the all levitated towards him and into his pocket dimension

"You should one I the moment you leave this  vault you will forget all about what is with in as will we it is a safety precaution" umaroth said they all nodded and exited the vault
