After returning eragon was given a feast to celebrate his return with all of his friends arya had to convince jaune to go and he decided to act like his previous lovable self everyone liked him even eragon and arya loved this sore of him as opposed to the cold merciless side he generally shown

The feast was a resounding success as everyone goofed and talked and had a good time jaune then met the idiots cousin roran who wasn't an idiot in fact he reminded jaune of himself a leader willing to do anything to protect those he held dear

Speaking of roran he had asked eragon to join him and his future wife katrina as man and wife which eragon agreed albeit a little hesitantly

Queen islanzadi had sent eragon a bunch of elves as protectors she tried to send some for jaune bit he declined rather matte of factly and she didn't even bother asking arya knowing her answer would be a resounding no

As for the elva their trump card of sorts....The least said about her the better

Eragon then went around filling his depts while thinking he needed a new sword he wouldn't be able to keep the dark repulsed forever and so he would need a new weapon soon

He was then told he would be heading to farthen dur much to jaunes amusement since he was also told to leave saphira here to leave a sense that dragon was still here like it matters

Jaune was living rather well he had achieved a spot in the inner circle of the varden for obvious reasons and when saphira was called to farthen dur jaune gave her a message

"When he reaches ellesméra tell him to ignore the tellings of solembum and go straight to rhunön" jaune said she nodded in understanding before taking flight and starting their journey upon there return from ellesméra a battle was ensuing that the varden was winning thanks to arya and more specifically jaune and the dragons when they encountered a shade jaune took over and was easily overpowering it however he gave arya the final blow

After the battle the three riders their dragons and nasuada found an abandoned building and began speaking about oromis's death wherein when glaedr's eldunari it was instantly handed to jaune

"You were able to keep fírnen's egg safe I ask that you do the same for his eldunari" eragon said jaune nodded

"As you wish" jaune said as he put glaedr in his pocket dimension

Another city was taken down after that and before the werecats made an appearance making an alliance with the varden

As they went and captured another city which was rather easy with three riders storming the place after which the were cats made an appearance and formed an alliance with the varden

Roran was sent to capture another city while the rest continued on there trek to dras-leona when they reached it and heralds made a speech when murtagh spoke up spouting how he could beat eragon and blah blah blah

"Yet you seem to forget their are two more riders besides eragon and one of them can obliterate your gate in one slash" jaune said talking about himself murtagh simply growled

Eventually joed found a tunnel that could be used to sneak into dras leona eragon arya and a few others went while jaune stayed behind only because she refused to let anyone besides jaune ride her once the city was taken eragon went and ranted at elva because she refused to help and now one of the elves is dead

nasuada was also kidnapped and jaune was furious

"No one thought to wake me up I could have easily saved her you idiots" jaune yelled

"Why are you so angry it isn't like she was important to you" eragon said

"Because now you have command of the varden yoy idiot and I will be damned if I take any orders from you" jaune said arya then went to calm jaune down

"Its okay your fine everything is going to be alright" arya said soothingly she knew he found eragon rather stupid and ignorant so she understood how he felt

"The war is almost over we now just have to go there" arya said jaune nodded

"Go where" eragon said
