"Yes" jaune asked

"I've been thinking" afina said

"Go ahead" jaune said

"I think I should wear a bridle" afina said jaune was shocked and slightly miffed that his dragon do that but he quickly calmed down

"And why do you think this is necessary" jaune asked

"Well this world people can take advantage of us talking view our minds and invading that and I am known to take things a bit to far this way you can stop me without putting harm to yourself" afina said jaune slapped his forehead in exasperation then he got an idea as he walked out of the room he and afina were staying

"Jaune" afina asked he didn't say a word returning with aria

"You talk to her I give up" jaune said exasperated she looked confused

"What's the problem" aria said jaune stood there for a moment as did afina before turning to the elf

"She wants to know if she has permission enter your mind" jaune said aria nodded and immediately felt the dragons presence in her mind jaune just walked off

"I am trying to talk my rider into using a bridle and reins" afina said

"Why aria asked and afina listed the same reasons that she said to jaune

"Those are good reasons however are you really okay wearing one it gives up a good chunk of your freedom" aria asked

"I only let my rider ride me anyway I mean I have let others on my back but only jaune may ride me like this no one else" afina said aria nodded also in defeat understanding where jaune is coming from riders never did this to their dragons they were supposed to be partners who work together dragons were not meant to be controlled but aria did notice an underlying clause

"You like it when he controls you don't you" aria said

"Guilty as charged" afina said

"You are a strange one" aria said

"You have a problem elf what me and my rider do" afina snarled

"Of course not my lady" aria said as she walked passed afina and towards jaune who was packing

"Any luck convincing my dragon to let go of this stupidity" jaune asked

"Unfortunately no she seems adamant and she even told me she likes when you take a more dominant role" aria said

"I always assumed but no actual evidence that is until now alright its understood tell her I will agree but I'm not gonna be the one to put it on" jaune said aria nodded and told afina what jaune said who then got aria to put it on for her final preparations were complete and all of them stood at the intersection that led out everyone mounted either saphira or afina what was surprising was aria picked jaune over eragon which made the boy slightly jealous and jaune was pleased very pleased he hoped that she would grow feelings for him he wanted her apart of his harem by the time he left the next world whatever world that may be

They stopped in an elven city dealt with some drama there before continuing on their way and because of the dragons it was so much faster when they found their escorts eragon picked up one jaune got the other and they yet again took flight it took a few days to arrive at the barrier where they had to land walk through then continue it was a very quiet flight and then they arrived in ellesméra a beautiful city
