Of course eragon the eldunari and saphira forgot all about the cave everyone else not so much thanks to jaunes spells which were already very powerful
Jaune was a little surprised how no one questioned that afina and fírnen were both wearing bridles but he wasn't gonna bring it up as he mounted his dragon and they all took to the sky
The flight was way more calm going back as they were getting to doru araeba when they arrived they hid invisible behind a rock as eragon called for their council to arrive one by one and was greeted as to be expected
Then they began discussing the plan but stopped at one particular point that brought them in an uproar
"What do you mean jaune will be staying out here" roran said
"Our goal is to leave one rider out here to keep our casualties as low as possible" arya answered
"But he is easily the strongest among the three of you" orrin exclaimed he hated to agree with roran but this situation was confusing
"Technically as of now we are evenly matched" jaune said
"How" orik asked
"Open your minds and you shall see" jaune said they did so and met the eldunari which got different responses depending on who you were jaune snorted at all of their reactions
He sat down on afina's shoulder arya was doing the same comfortably humming to herself
"This is incredible but if you were to use this power" Orrin said but jaune shook his head
"Most of my abilities aren't technically magic so they can't help me except I guess by keeping my energy up and trust me I don't need it" jaune said
"They seem to think that you need others to win a fight" satsuki said
"I think that is the first time you have said anything since I forged you also I do need " jaune said she giggled everyone including eragon was staring at her
"True but I will always be the only one you ever need" satsuki said
"Um jaune what is that" eragon asked
"You mean satsuki well she's....." jaune said he drew his blade
"This" jaune finished holding his blade out
"I am crocea mors but you may call me satsuki" jaune said while she did tell him the names that gave his weapon its power but jaune wanted his weapon to have a name of true meaning and crocea mors carried him pretty far so he named the blade that
"Are you saying your sword is alive" orik said
"Yes I am alive you stupid drawf" satsuki said orik was stammering what could he say when a sword just insulted him a bloody sword
"She isn't the only one" arya said as she drew tsuki who also appeared she bowed
"Out of the two tsuki is definitely the more polite of the two" jaune chuckled he didn't really mind after all his was more like ashera and wanted respect which he gave her
"These are all we need not the eldunari these blades hold alot of power" arya said she in her own time has learned exactly what her blade can do and safe to say she was impressed
"Okay so again why aren't you going in with them" orik said
"Because arya as you can see also has my type of weapon however that being said I want to have as few casualties as possible" jaune said he was very adamant about not going in
"You aren't going in no matter what we say" roran said jaune just shook his head
"No no no you have it wrong I'm not going in immediately however I am going on when I know the battle out here is assured" jaune said
"Ah I see but wouldn't you tire out and make you a target" orik said jaune chuckled at that
"Trust me when I say this will not happen" jaune said still chuckling at orik's question
"Alright then" eragon said before they started going over last minute details before they all one by one started going back to camp until the three riders were left and they shoo'd eragon away he knew about their relationship so he did as they asked
"After this we are leaving aren't we" arya asked
"Yes but not immediately we still have to get the eggs that's coming with us and there are a couple other things I wanna do" jaune said
"I want us to do something before we leave" arya said he could tell in her eyes what she wanted
"Alright I understand we'll do it in this world" jaune said she smiled
