I had plenty sleep, yet I felt too tired to do anything.
I then heard the monitor in my room start the morning announcement.
Ding, Dong, Bing Bong!
"Hellooooo students! Please make your way to the main hall by 7am, for I have a very special announcement!"
I sighed and reluctantly got out of bed. I checked the time.
6:30... I still have time for a quick breakfast
So I headed to the cafe to grab something to eat. When I got there, the first thing I noticed was that the broken chandelier had been cleaned up. I then realised a few people were already here. This included Ruby, Toby, Zara and Lewis. Ruby and Lewis were sitting alone, but Toby and Zara were sitting at the same table. I went and sat with Ruby.
"Ooh, Ruby is happy to see you Willow!" She cheered as soon as I say down. I smiled and said "it's good to see your spirits haven't been crushed..." She returned the smile and then we just say and ate.
Seven came fast and by the time I was there, everyone had gathered in the hall. Mono-Mia then began talking "Hello there students! Now, today I would like to present the motive!"
Should've known...
She then handed us an envelope each. "These letters are all from the mastermind themself! So, get to reading!" This didn't seem like a motive, but I opened the letter nonetheless.
I'm one of your allies, you know? That's right, one of the people in the room with you is the person who wrote this letter. Perhaps you could take a gamble and kill one of them? You'll know wether you succeeded or not the very next day.
The message sent a chill down my spine. But it made one thing clear.

In my daze, I noticed that Pearl had come up to me. "I was wonderin' if ya were ok? Ya seemed a bit dazed." She said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "N-No... I'm not.." I found myself quietly mumbling "This isn't fair Pearl..."
Pearl looked at me and said "Now don't ya be worrying matey, if anyone tries to kill my matey, I'll throw em overboard!" I found myself laughing a little at this, Pearl always knew how to cheer me up with her pirate jokes.
But I was still scared by the fact that anyone, even Pearl could be the mastermind...
